We rented this loft style condo for a weekend and it was great! Very clean, cozy, and welcoming! Plenty of room in the loft, with a very comfy bed and clean living and bathroom areas. A quick drive to the downtown areas (about 2-3 minutes) and the coffee shop and other shops on site were pretty neat. Will definitely try to book this again next year!

Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Owner response: Was a pleasure having you, so glad you felt at home!! Of course it will be ready for your stay again next year:)

Owner was very nice and accomodating for key pick up and availability. Building and surrounding area of property was interesting and enjoyable to explore. Having shops and restaurants on site was wonderful especially Stella's Trattoria. Great location for getting to downtown and other locations nearby. Property was clean except for some webs and a dirty refridgerator. Property was comfortable enough since we spent very little time in it other than to sleep. I would recommend it for the same purpose but for anyone looking to spend more time in it, please note it does not compare to other units in the building. The decor of this property has a bit of a college dorm feel to it.

We really enjoyed the unique buildings in the Commons and to experience the restoration of such a facility into apartments/shops. Cool building ! The ground floor shops, restaurant, coffee shop were great. TC is a wonderful city and this unit was close to our area's of interest. I was rather taken aback that the unit did not have some basic amenities (TV, coffee pot) in the unit (need to read/question what's not included a little closer). In addition the owners personal items filled the dresser drawers, wardrobe, vanities and most of the fridge making it more difficult than we are accustomed to from previous rental experience with VRBO to feel as fully settled in for a week long stay.

Owner response: Thanks for your review!! One of the things we love about VRBO.. is its BY OWNER, so you get a chance to experience someone's home, and feel their personality and character throughout. This is our home during cold months, so we leave some of our "home"ness there as well as our creative touch and love for re-use, local and arts. French Press is our preference for making coffee, so we leave out a large glass French Press, with instruction of how to easily use. The coffee roastery on site can provide you with the freshest roasts, ground perfectly for the press. Summers in TC are filled with beauty, warmth, events, beaches, hammocks... so we do not keep a TV on site as it's not needed!! Wireless is available to watch netflix or hulu, and there is a great local movie store to rent dvds for your computer.

Cozy loft perfect for two with everything you need for a stress free stay! The owner was very friendly and offered creative ideas for experiencing the local flavors of the area. This condo is clean and quiet and is situated in a wonderful community that gives visitors an "all inclusive" resort feel. There are shops, salons and dining located just downstairs and downtown Traverse City is only blocks away. Easy access to shopping, pharmacy and grocery stores. Our vacation was flawless and we couldn't have asked for a better home away from home!

My boyfriend and I stayed here during our recent trip to Traverse City. It was the perfect place to stay! The complex where the unit is located is beautiful, and the apartment itself is lovely. The location could not have been better. Restaurants and shops are located on site, and we were within walking distance (about 20 minutes) from the downtown area and lakefront. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone traveling to the area!
