Boating: Ramrod Key can accommodate boats with a 3' controlling depth outside of the main channel, which takes you into Newfound Harbor with super easy access to the ocean or the bay.

Just outside the main channel is the super fun picnic island where all locals and tourists go for a fun day of docking the boat in shallow water, playing with the kids, pets and friends in the water or on our famous little island. A great place to stop on your way in or out to the deeper water or just play there all day.

Dolphin Marina is just a short boat ride around the corner on Little Torch Key where you can launch your boat, get gas or whatever you need before heading out on the water for the day. Head north in Pine Channel for flats fishing or visit our white beaches of the Content Keys or Marvin Key. Or head south 5 miles to Looe Key Reef, where you can find the best diving and snorkeling in the Florida Keys, or the Busch Adolphus wreck, home to some of the biggest grouper ever seen!

Local Island Living: After a day on the water, you can relax in the shade under the house and cook up that fish, or just hang in the shade with a cool drink in hand.

Enjoy our local establishments on our island. Looe Key Reef Resort is at the entrance of the island where you can enjoy nightly entertainment and dancing, with a great bar menu for something to eat. Across US1 is Boondocks Grill and Miniature Golf for full family fun! Also nightly entertainment and dancing, full restaurant menu and many local weekend events. If you wish to travel a little outside our island, Key West is close by for limitless entertainment, bars, restaurants, culture.

The following information may help answer your questions before you inquire about our beautiful vacation house. Monroe County, Florida 28 Day Rule. The Monroe County Board of Commissioners has voted to disallow short-term rentals in most residential neighborhoods. This means we are no longer allowed to rent these homes on a weekly basis and can only rent for periods of 28 days or more to no more than one party. Peak Season Dates Peak Season: Runs from December through March 31st and July & August for Lobster Season. Cancellation Policy Cancellation inside 60 days of arrival is subject to forfeiture of full payment. Cancellation outside of 60 days is subject to 25% forfeiture. If owner or agents are able to rebook the premises, tenant will receive a refund less a $100 cancellation fee. Please notify us as soon as possible of cancellation and a Written Notice of Cancellation.
