BEACH LANE BUNGALOW - Here is the beach bungalow you've been looking for. Located on the southern border of Laie, this old-time beach cottage was lovingly restored and you'll see the quality and workmanship throughout. The 425 square foot private cottage has a front deck of 150 square feet with a gas grill, a grassy front yard, an over-sized walk-in tiled shower, double bowl vanity in the bathroom, a loveseat(small sofa, sleeps a child if need be), and a roomy full kitchen for cooking in.

This rental is just 100 yards from a beautiful mile stretch of sandy beach (beach access is at the end of the lane). It's perfect for strolling, swimming, and snorkeling. The Polynesian Cultural Center (with its luau dinners and hula shows) is just a few minutes away. The LDS Temple is in Laie and a visit to Laie Point offers a dramatic view of the rugged coastline. A bit further down the road is the Malaekahana State Recreation Area, with views to Goat Island, a sea bird sanctuary. The Turtle Bay Hilton is just 15 minutes north and offers a nice place for lunch, cocktails, or dinner. Continue north and you will run into the famous North Shore surfing beaches and famous Haleiwa Town with alot of shopping and resturants.

Whether you decide to relax at the bungalow, or drive around to sightsee, you are sure to have a fabulous time.

  • The bungalow is clean, attractive, private and close to an almost deserted sandy beach. Despite stormy (but warm) December weather, we hiked in the nearby hills, swam in the sea and pottered around the towns along the coast. This is probably as close to an atypical but still comfortable tourist holiday as you can find on Oahu.

  • A wonderful place to stay while in Oahu. Good size bungalow with all the facilities you would need. Loved the size of the shower!! Even though the bungalow is close to a busy road, there was no traffic noise. The gardens have been well looked after and it feels very private. Having the ocean within walking distance is great. Would recommend the bungalow to others.

  • Sorry so late....( our stay was 2/27/08 to 3/5/08 ).....but getting back to nearly 2 feet of snow in Ohio and a busy schedule............anyway..........the bungalow was everything that we wanted and needed. we would recommend it highly. it was one of our best visits to Oahu yet.   • The Beach Bungalow was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Literally steps down to the beach, a very very quiet location, all the amenities of home and MORE really, AND the kicker here is the daily rate is cheaper than almost any hotel! If you're looking for a home base while exploring the island, or just to get away from the daily grind, this is the perfect place, really. We absolutely recommend this to anyone we know that may be visiting Oahu, and don't want to stay in the busy city. Also, we're Lost fanatics (ABC TV show), and we wanted to see filming locations, and this was pretty much right in the middle of many of the locations. Highly highly recommend!!! Thank you Greg!!!

  • Sorry this comment is coming extremely overdue. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in January of 2007. This was a wonderful spot, an unbeatable location with an unbeatable price. We enjoyed being away from the crowds of honolulu and waikiki. Greg was awesome and very prompt and honest in everything he did while we were there. We highly recommend staying here or his other property if you want to have a more laid back experience. And sorry this is coming in so late.
