Husband and I just spent 3 nights over Thanksgiving at Log Inn. The cabin and beautiful mountain setting was perfect! Private, very clean cabin, well appointed, comfy and easy to access. Had an issue with the WiFi and the owner returned our call immediately. Hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountains with full sky view was just what the doctor ordered! Already planning a return visit. I highly recommend this wonderful cabin.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Awesome place. Has a great view of the mountains. Secluded for privacy. Can accommodate more than 6. Bit of a steep driveway bit well worth the trouble.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Why Maggie Valley:
We love the mountains and the creek that runs beside our property. There are so many things to do in the area. We are near the Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, gem mining, furniture and antique galleries as well as historic Cold Mountain, We love exploring Waynesville with it's unique shops, playing golf at the many beautiful courses (we are just above Maggie Valley Club), rafting, hiking in the mountains, and visiting nearby Asheville about 30 min. away. There are many nice restaurants in town and frequent festivals in the area. It is a great artist area as well.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The cabin is a great place to escape and just relax. Sitting on the wrap around porch is like being in a tree house. Looking out you can see distant mountains and the valley below. We also like to wander down to the creek that runs beside our property. At night while sitting in our hot tub, we have seen many shooting stars. When we have guest with us, they have their own private area in the lower level complete with a bedroom (queen bed), den, private bath, and outdoor patio with a porch swing. There is also a loft with two twin beds.
