Relax in the refreshing pine breezes on the flagstone patio with grill and outside wood fireplace - great relief from summer heat. Cook for the bunch in a spacious kitchen, and eat at dining table for six plus counter space, or order out.
7 person Sectional in the Movie Room boasting a 6 foot wide HD Screen and surround sound.
Walk/Bike through the friendly roads in Kachina Village and the local forest roads - head to Pumphouse Wash and hike locally or visit the San Francisco Peaks, Wupatki/Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona.
Lots of other places to be outside. Lots of shops, restaurants, (Sushi) bars and attractions around town. Be sure to check out the Orpheum Theater - it's a great venue for live shows. And Karma Sushi on the main drag downtown is phenomenal! Pictures on it's website at

My family and I rented this cozy cabin outside of Flagstaff for a week over New Years and we couldn't have been happier. The listing was as promised and there was more than enough room for our extended family. The entertainment system is a big plus and you really have all the comforts of home to enjoy. The owner bent over backwards to make sure our stay was enjoyable and they were great to deal with in getting everything set up and ready to go. We'd never stayed in Kachina Village before but will definitely consider it again as it's nice and close to Flagstaff and the ski resort but far enough removed so that you don't have to deal with the traffic in town. There is a great hill for sledding about 5 minutes from the cabin and it's a 10-15 min drive into downtown Flagstaff. I guess that may be the only negative, if you need something from the store that you can't get from the nearby gas station (it is pretty well stocked) you need to go into Flagstaff. Like I said though, it is about 100x quieter than Flag if you are looking to get away. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.
