We stayed in this home 3 nights on our recent trip to Moab. On the bright side, it is spacious, clean, and well-furnished. There're 2 reasons I only give it a 3 star rating. First, none of the bedrooms have window coverings. There's a tall privacy fence in the backyard (all bedrooms face the back) and I guess the owner thinks that's sufficient for security and privacy, but I disagree. It bothered all of us to sleep in a room where anyone could peer into the room while we slept. After we discovered the lack of window coverings, we only stayed because we were able to drape sheets over the windows. Also, the map the property management company emailed me was terrible and we ended driving around in the dark about 30 minutes before finally accidentally stumbling upon the house. When we tried calling the agency for help at 9 pm we got an answering machine and no call-back. I strongly believe that if you're going to rent out your house, you need to be able to field calls from renters 24/7. I didn't get a call back from this agency until almost noon the next day. I wouldn't call that responsive. All these issues are fixable: Cover the windows, redo the map, and talk to the rental agency about responsiveness. If they get fixed, I'd recommend this house. If not, I wouldn't rent it again.Owner response: Thank you for your thoughtful review. In response to your comments, window coverings have been installed in the bedrooms.

This rental was great! Very clean, very spacious, it had everything we needed. Location was great, just five minutes from Moab. Very close to both Canyonlands, Arches, Dead Horse, La Sal Mountains and many other adventure spots. We would definitely stay with this renter again. Moab, we'll be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children.

House was very clean, Nice view from front and back. House is as pictured. A short drive into main part of town. Close to Arches National Park,LaSal Mountains, Dead Horse State Park and parts of the Canyonlands National Park. Also went rafting and Canyoneering with Red River Adventures. Canyoneering was fantastic. We stayed for 9 nights and grilled out on back porch at least half of them. Only used pool and hot tub once. Tried to use a few other times but pool was closed. Not sure why.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family had a wonderful time while staying in this home. It is very comfortable for 6 people and allows for a relaxing time around home-cooked meals and planning activities. The swimming pool provided a nice cool-off time after a day of wheeling and sight seeing. The home is immaculate with colorful southwestern furniture and decor. Even though it is a short distance out of town, it was very convenient for traveling to our activities and for parking our vehicles. We would definately recommend this home for a stay in Moab. In fact, we hope to try it again next summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We live in Salt Lake and love to escape to Moab to enjoy the many activities available down here. It is a great week or weekend get away. The scenery is spectacular as is the mountain biking, hiking, rafting...etc. Moab is one of the kids favorite places to go.
Why the Owner Chose Moab:
We bought at Tierra Del Sol because we really liked the townhouse layout. It is very spacious and comfortable. We also really like the covered patio and backyard. It is a beautiful development and our townhouse is close to the pool and hot tub. We also liked that there was green space on the other side of us.
