Loved the condo. Great location. Used Ramon's for diving and they treated us wonderful. Close to everything. Very clean and Angela, the housekeeper, does a great job. Will definitely stay there again. Tried several restaurants we say mentioned in other reviews. Of course, always love Hurricanes, but can't beat the price of a Lobster burrito at Waragumas!

Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

We stayed at Belizean Reef Oct 29-Nov 4. This is a awesome condo. Stocked with everything you can ever need for a vacation. Kitchen is well equipped, bathroom has plenty of towels, and Angela, the housekeeper, makes sure you have everythng you need. There was only two of us, but this condo could easily be perfect for two couples or a family. The location is great, we rented a golf cart for the week, but it is really not needed because everything is within walking distance, even airport. I highly recommend staying here , cant wait to return.

This place was fabulous!!! My friend and I LOVED this condo! We were here for a week and it was wonderful! Location is on the beach and right in town. Grocery store one block away, not a bad walk even in the rain! We didn't want to have to rent bikes or a golf cart and there was no need, we easily walked everywhere we wanted to go. The owners are great. We emailed several times during our stay with the most random questions (recommendation for dive shop, place to get videos, place to print) and they always wrote back really quickly. Cleaning lady is also fabulous! She was super nice and was even tipped us off when the coke truck was going by so we could flag it down to buy a case! View is amazing, still can't believe such a great unit was so inexpensive. Oh, and bed and futon were both very comfortable!!

This is the place to stay! The pictures are completely accurate, yet don't quite do it justice. The condo is well maintained and very convenient to town and activities. This unit is on the second of three floor with only 7 units in total. You can walk from the airport - maybe 1 block away (but not a noise issue). There is a local bar just down the way that does play music Fri-Sun night (that you can hear from the condo) but it stops by 10pm. Not really a problem at all, unless you like to go to bed really early and want the windows open. The outside temp when we were there was 75-85F and we never used the A/C. There are many fans - one in the bedroom and lots of windows. The bed is super comfortable as are all the couches. There are all kinds of good restaurants within a 1/2 mile. Give Waraguma's a try for local seafood at half the price of the beach/tourist restaurants. Blue Water Grill is excellent as well. Activity/tour shops nearby too. We had our own dive guides for 3 days -- Belize Down Under -- right next door to the condo. David and Argyle are great and completely flexible on time/location etc of what we wanted to do. Definitely use them if you want personalized attention and no group diving. All in all, a wonder trip and The Belizean Reef Suite was the perfect place to stay.

This condo made our vacation perfect. It was exactly what we had hoped for. The unit was clean and had daily maid service. The location was excellent, an easy walk to groceries, restaurants, bars, and tour boats. The owner was easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this condo as being the perfect place to stay while vacationing in San Pedro.

We've stayed at many places in Ambergris before from the luxury all-inclusives to the $30 per night beach shacks. Nothing comes close to this wonderful place. If you're going to be spending time on Ambergris, look no further - this is where to stay. - Beauiful ocean-front condos on a pristine, quiet beach - Close to downtown for walking, groceries or nightlife - yet quiet at night. - Well-decorated, clean, daily maid service, air-conditioning in the bedrooms - The kitchens are perfectly clean, with all ammenities. - Terrific private covered deck with chairs, hammocks in the yard. - The owner is kind, polite, helpful and inobtrusive, great advice given Al in all, we just loved this place. After years of loving Belize but NOT loving the accomodations, this place has it just about perfect. I will never stay anywhere else!

The Belizean Reef was much nicer than the pictures lead us to believe. The accommodations were spotless and the porch provided an awesome view of the Caribbean out our front door. It was only 1/2 block from town, so we could walk to numerous dive shops, food markets, and restaurants. The roof deck for watching the sunset was an added bonus. The owner, Ken, was very helpful in recommending places to go and was there when we needed him and gone when we didn't! We are so glad that we didn't stay in the local tourist hotel. It was 2 doors down and looked like Disneyland! Our condo felt like we actually lived in the little town. It was very reasonably priced for the height of the season and he gives a discount if you book 4 night or more. I can't wait to go back! If you go, tell Ken that the Heffernans sent you...

Highly Recommend ! Everything we could have wanted. Super Clean, Full Kitchen, Fantastic Service, Great Ocean front Location. Very Reasonably Priced for an Ocean Front Condo. They offer discounts for 5+ nights, and different packages to fit you needs. Loved It!

The hotel was great. This was my first time visiting Belize. Ken, the owner, was a big help trying to figure out where to go site-seeing on the main-land, what to be careful of and other helpful tips. The location was perfect. far enough from the late night partying to get some sleep and close enough to stagger back to if joining in. Even though I haven't seen other hotels, I could easily make the Belizean Reef my exclusive place to stay.
