Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow, the photos did not do this cute house justice. We were so happy to see a rental this clean and modern. It was perfect walking location to town. The owner was friendly, helpful and very professional. It was just perfect for mom's celebrating their 40.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Terrific house in a great location; easy walking distance to downtown. The website photos accurately reflect the level of fit and finish of this very comfortable house. Owner Steve was very knowledgable of all things Paso and made great recommendations for vineyards and restaurants as part of his welcome/check-in. That said, you never have to leave the property - it is completely updated and well equipped inside and out, including a very nice back deck with a Weber gas grill.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our 4-night stay at Olive with a Twist. The home was nicely renovated and is beautifully maintained and impeccably clean. Bed very very comfy. With only one full bath and an additional vanity/sink, could be close quarters for two couples, but it was perfect for the two of us. Convenient location, a short walk to downtown restaurants and shopping, and a pleasant drive to top-notch wineries. Very quiet neighborhood. Couldn't be happier with our experience there!

It was an easy walk to downtown and short drive to any of the vineyards. We were very pleased with this house. It was perfect for 2 couples and even cheaper than a hotel stay. Steve was great and always available for us. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely come back!

Reviewer Comments: We needed a vacation rental at the last minute and the property management and owner were more than accommodating, especially two days before Christmas. Speaking of December in Paso Robles, it was 20 degrees at night and we woke up to frozen pipes. Water was available about 9am after the sun came up and warmed up the pipes. Gotta love mother nature! I would definitely recommend this residence and hope to stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Olive with a Twist could not have been more perfect. Steve warmly greeted us at the property promptly upon our arrival and gave us tips on local spots and things to do in town. The cottage was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cookware to facilitate our Thanksgiving dinner. We slept very well as the beds were extremely comfortable! The cottage is located on a very quaint and quiet street only a few blocks to the main downtown area with shops, restaurants and wine tasting rooms. We highly recommend this rental and look forward to returning!

The fact that the internet actually worked when so many cottages I have rented fail in that respect was also great. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a week end cottage rental. All in all, a great spot to consider.

Quite charming and convenient

I stayed here with a few girlfriends for a wine weekend getaway. My friends and I were quite impressed by the cleanliness and beautiful finishes throughout the home. The owner met us at check in and gave us all sorts of recommendations, including a fabulous restaurant called Artisan that we ate at our second night there. The home is conveniently located close to downtown so we were able to walk downtown to dinner both nights and do a little shopping at some of the cute boutiques. I would absolutely stay in this home again next time I'm in Paso Robles! Thank you again to the owner who was always available to answer questions that we had during our stay, we felt truly welcome in your home.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Paso Robles and enjoyed our stay in Olive with a Twist. The home is very clean and organized, and the location is within an easy walk to the square with all of the nearby restaurants and shops. We visited with our 2-year-old son and appreciated that the house wasn't overrun with knick-knacks and other stuff for him to get into. The enclosed backyard was also a plus, although that area wasn't particularly pretty, just gravel surrounding the back porch/patio. The owners were helpful and easy to work with. We'd definitely stay at the house again and recommend it to others.

We rented it for the week of our wedding and we were so happy to have our own little home to come back to! The property manager was very unhelpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A lot of miscommunications thru the property manager. They moved our reservation to another location and forgot to tell us. Said they would do something nice for our troubles and never did. Gave us the wrong contact phone number for check-in. Felt a bit disorganized. However, the place was a small but beatifully remodeled 2B, 1B home located in a residential area. It was very clean!! It had a view of lovely trees/telephone wires in the backyard.Blue birds visited frequently. It was away from all the hubbub of the Festival. Very quiet. It lacked a few essentials in the kitchen for our needs (hand towels, kitchen knives for chopping, mixer, variety of pots and pans needed to be more), so if you plan on doing some major cooking better ask what is available. The owner's are very kind and when I asked about a blender, he brought one over 5 minutes later. I would stay there again. Also, because no one was checking in right after us, owner allowed us to "check-out" much later (around 5pm) instead of by 11AM!! That was a great surprise and made our day!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed the house on Olive Street in Paso Robles. Having a house, instead of a hotel room was ideal-- gave us room to spread out, and a wonderful place to return to after touring & wine tasting to relax before heading out to our next activity. The house was new, spot less, and very charming. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend it. Living in a small town, we really appreciate the ambiance of being able to walk to shops & restaurants in a safe & attractive downtown area. Just a couple of things we noticed that the house could use: a wine chiller to ice down a bottle of wine, an alarm clock, and coasters glasses to protect the nice side tables. Overall, a wonderful place in a lovely town!
