  House was exactly as described except "better". There were books to read, movies to watch, great view, nice peaceful porch, excellent location, nicely furnished and very clean. The owner was a breeze to work with. I will definitely stay here again!

  Very nicely furnished, clean and comfortable place to stay. Beautiful view of the mountains can be enjoyed from either inside or outside on the patio. The owners went out of their way to make our visit a memorable one. We've already booked our next stay!!

  We stayed four nights in this Auburn apartment and recommend it for travelers to the California Gold Country. It is an easy drive to Grass Valley and Nevada City, and the Auburn area with the American River is fabulous. The apartment is newly decorated, and everything was sparkling. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful; we had a picnic on the patio, enjoying the view which included turkeys parading across the street.

  My husband and I stayed at this wonderful house as part of a trip combining Yosemite, Foothills, and Tahoe. We stayed here for a couple of days inbetween Yosemite and Tahoe so we could see the historical sights of the Gold Rush and go white water river rafting. We also did a lot of hiking, which this area is famous for. After our stay, we concluded there is so much do do here and we intend to visit back in the summer for a whole week. It was amazing. The 1br house is on the lower level of a million dollar custom house in an extremely nice neighborhood. They have the stairs blocked off by a double locked door (lock on our side and lock on theirs. There is a livingroom/kitchen containing everything you could possibly need - all high end. There is a seperate bedroom with a very comfortable bed, closet, window, etc. There is a very upgraded bathroom inbetween the livingroom and bedroom. The Livingroom couch folds out into a sleeper so more people can stay. It was incredibly private - and that was our main concern staying in a place like this. The entrance to the main house is on the 2nd story and this unit has its own entrance. Once we got settled in, it was like we were in our own hotel room. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody!
