  We had a week long family reunion at this home. It was a great time. The pool is very nice and the backyard is large enough for throwing a ball or a small soccer game. There was also a children's play-set in the backyard for the little ones. The kitchen, dining area, and family room all have a nice open floor plan. There is also a nice sitting area right before heading out to the back porch/pool. We swam most days and ate all of our dinners on the back porch - delightful! The home is walking distance (~about 20 minutes) from the Pearl Street mall, yet it is in a quiet neighborhood. The only real (minor) hindrance is that the bedrooms (2) and the bathroom (1) in the basement are a bit outdated. We didn't mind that, though, as we spent the majority of our time on the main floor or outside. The main floor bedrooms (2) are very nice and the 2nd story master suite is amazing. If you only need space for three couples or six people, you don't even need the basement bedrooms. However, if you need the space, it is probably next to impossible to find another five bedroom home in Boulder with as nice a backyard/pool and living space on the main floor. We loved that we could fit our entire family in the home. We highly recommend the place!

  We had a family reunion at the house and it was fantastic! Lots of common area space, nice deck to eat lunches and dinners outside beside the pool, and enough sleeping room for all the family. The location is great; a house with a pool such a short drive to downtown is really rare, the neighborhood is beautiful with big trees, and hikes and parks for the kids and great bagels and coffee and a supermarket are a 2-minute drive or a nice walk away. The family loved the house and had a great time, and the owners were really helpful.

  We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The home was so comfortable, with a large, gracious kitchen and beautiful outdoor living space. The home was very clean and the owners were wonderful about answering our questions. We loved the ability to walk to hikes in the foothills, as well as to local restaurants. We look forward to visiting again!

  This house is really wonderful and is located in a great spot very close to Pearl St and hiking. The house itself is spacious with multiple bedrooms and a great pool and deck. Well taken care of, clean, and modern. The owners were extremely helpful in giving us advice about Boulder and Colorado in general. Master bedroom is particularly magnificent with a great view of the mountains and ample space. Kitchen, living and family areas were very comfortable. We loved the deck and pool, especially since we had small children with us. My only complaint against so many positives is the lack of air conditioning at night time in the summer, but we got along fine with fans. They have some kind of system for air cooling but we couldn't really figure it out.

  Owner response: The sad part of renting our home while we are away during the summer is that we don't get to personally meet all of the wonderful people who make make memories in our home. You were so fun to work with and we are so thrilled you had a good time in our home. I am so sorry you didn't give us a call about how to work the swamp cooler. Many people from dry climates prefer the moist cool air over air conditioning but many times you need to turn the thermostat much lower than you would for air conditioning. I hate to think you had a hot week when you could have been nice a cool. Good thing you had a pool to dip into! Many thanks

  Our family really enjoyed our visit to this home. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the home was very well maintained. This is truly a home away from home, and we enjoyed it so much that we spent most of our trip at the house...swimming, lounging in the backyard, or playing games. Enthusiastic Thumbs Up!

  We rented this home to use as a "base" when my niece got married in July 2010. It was the perfect alternative to renting multiple hotel rooms since it had so many bedrooms and baths. The master suite is beautiful and has a great view of the foothills. The yard was a pleasurable place to hang out, the pool was refreshing and well maintained, and the house was very comfortable with any amenity you could ask for. Grocery store and Pearl St. Mall close by and good hiking right up the street. The only (teeny tiny) negative was that there were no blinds in the bedroom windows. So, when the sun came up, it was time to rise and shine! This did not go over well with the teenagers in our group! The owners were very friendly, answered questions about the area, and were a pleasure to rent from. They were genuinely concerned that we were having a good time in their house! We had a great experience. I would highly recommend this rental.
