This was a beautiful decorated, well equiped condo and layed out very well with 3 bedrooms.,,,everyone had their space. We also enjoyed being on the bottom/no stairs! The aminities here at Tupelo Bay are great. We enjoyed the exercise room and the large pool area with grills to cook out on. This area was close to everything including Murrells Inlet for lots of good seafood! Also owners are awesome to work with!!! We will be back!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

What a wonderful week we had, staying in this beautiful, convenient and family-friendly condo! I, my husband, our daughters and their friends (aged 17 to 23) had such a great time spending our days choosing from a huge variety of activities. The kitchen was stocked very well for cooking/baking and we enjoyed some yummy meals, followed by relaxing in front of the tv or playing games on those evenings we wanted to take it easy. Our days were all different - the beach is so close and the parking so convenient, that we came and went throughout the day. The clubhouse and pool are gorgeous and we actually found ourselves spending just as much time lounging around the pool as we did on the beach. Because we'd been advised to make advance reservations, we were able to do almost everything we had hoped to do. This is crucial! We did learn the hard way that the Ghost Tour in Georgetown is only held Friday evenings, so missed out on that :( Maybe next time :) We still took the short trip to Georgetown though and highly recommend the Shelling and Lighthouse Cruise on the Carolina Rover. Our naturalist was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the local history and wildlife. He also knew exactly where to find the best treasures - just be prepared for a brisk walk down the island's beach! Once we returned to the dock, Buzz's Roost restaurant (right next door) was a delight, both in its unique atmosphere and tasty food. Captain Dick's was our choice for parasailing and jet skiing - our girls had a blast and the cost was quite reasonable. Make sure to check the local coupon books for discounts. Mount Atlantis Miniature Golf and trips to Broadway at the Beach were lots of fun too. We all ended up with balloon hats at Carlos and Charlies - lots of interaction with the staff in that lively place! Deb was always available with advice and offers of assistance, both prior to and during our stay. She was more than accommodating and was determined to make our stay the best it could possibly be. To keep life interesting, we rarely return to the same place for vacation. But we just may reconsider this time. A million thanks and five-plus stars to Deb and her home away from home!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This place is amazing! It's location is perfect for anyone who doesn't wanna be in the furry of downtown Myrtle beach. The beach is located right across the road and it's not to crowed. I come down here with a couple others for graduation recently and we all loved it. It was just enough room for all of us and the perfect place to sleep. It was only 10 min away from downtown Myrtle beach. For anyone who wants to stay here I would reccommend it. It's the perfect little place.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

We just recently stayed here (6/4/11) and it was very nice. Deb was very helpful with answering all of our questions. The property was very nice, quiet and clean. Plus the condo was close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The pool was awesome and on most days we had it to ourselves! I would recommend this property to anyone and especially if you love to play golf!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for a week in this cute condo with 5 teenagers, a 4 y.o. and 3 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone and the luggage/supplies we brought. The place was sparkling clean when we got there. The dishes, pots/pans and kitchen tools are all in good condition. The appliances worked perfectly, and the A/C kept the place cool quite nicely as well. The beds were quite comfortable, and linens were provided (which is nice!). The beach can be reached easily with a short drive, golf cart or the shuttle which runs every twenty minutes until 4:00 p.m. The beach was never very crowded. We found that we could easily reach all the Myrtle Beach attractions just north of us; but also have the amenities of a more laid back community at Surfside and just south of Surfside. We went on a banana boat ride out of Murrell's inlet which was very fun. Then we also went on a jet ski dolphin watch tour near North Myrtle Beach. The dolphin watch was incredible, with dolphins coming up right beside our jet ski and giving us the look over. We stayed with this pod for at least 30-45 minutes. Then spent the remainder of the tour jumping waves in the open ocean, which was tremendous fun. I'd readily come back to vacation at this condo; and recommend it highly to others!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo had a perfect set up for our family vacation! Clean, spacious with wonderful amenities! The golf was perfect! Beautiful pool and my son used the work out facilities while there! We will definitely return in the future!!!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The place was new, clean, and well maintained. The owner was very helpful in answering questions prior to the reservation and afterward. The kitchen amenities were well stocked (silverware, plates, etc.). The appliances were great (washer dryer). The layout of the condo was great for our family. The master had a his/her walk in closet and a large shower with a seat. It was a large master bedroom! The fountain outside the porch was relaxing and along with the landscaping was very pretty. We played golf at the executive course and hit a bucket of balls on the driving range. My son and I walked there and back from the condo. It was a short walk. The family played at the on site minature golf course, and we played a set of tennis on the lighted court at night. We used the indoor and outdoor pool on site. Each day, we took the short drive down Melody Lane to the beach, and enjoyed a short walk right to the beach. There is some parking in some places on the street and there are some pay lots and meters (right next to the beach). We never had to walk more than 50 yards to the beach. We ate at several restaurants while there. Firehouse Subs is close by and was great. We ate at the "New China Buffet" our last night and enjoyed some good shrimp and chinese food for about $12 each. There are several local restaurants nearby. Some include buffets for $20 to $25. You might want to ask some locals where to eat. We ate at Bonefish Grill the first night (I know it's a chain), and it was outstanding. The service is excellent. Some restaurants were too crowded and we skipped those. Next time we return to Surfside Beach, I want to each in Murrell's Inlet. There are many restaurants there that looked good. We passed them on the way to Captain Dick's Marina to jet ski. We were rained out twice, so maybe we will get to do that next time. We did not mind the distance from the beach. We drove there each day. Many people rent golf carts, and use those to get around. We didn't take the shuttle, but it operated regularly during the day. I would recommend to anyone to stay at this condo. We enjoyed staying a new, clean place, and used most of the amenities onsite.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

The condo was just like the pictures show. The area of the condo was very clean and kid friendly.This was the first time to Mrytle Beach for us and Deb was just very helpful with going over the area and sending information for things to do. Deb was great about working with us on the days we needed.We would most certainly recommed this condo.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

Was a very nice place to stay, the house was kept very clean and had plenty of room for the whole family. Great location situatated in a private community just seconds from the beach. We walked there every day. The pieceful surrondings of this condo make it a great location. We enjoyed quite nights at the condo and lots of entertainment right down the road. The miniture golf course was a great place to take the kids and get ice cream after. This is all in walking distance. I will definatly be returning for another vacation here every year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
