I met four high-school girlfriends to relax in this condo. It was well appointed and comfortable, good beds and showers, and just a 10-minute walk to the beach. At first we were wishing we were closer, then we found we could enjoy the beach and local party scene, then retreat to this quiet oasis to sit on screened porch with the fabulous marina view and constant ocean breeze. We ventured into Charleston for one great meal, but ate the rest of our meals on the porch basking in the breeze and each other's company. We had a few unexpected needs, but both the owner and housekeeping responded immediately. Free street parking by the beach if you want to tote coolers and chairs, and just 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. We would definitely stay here again.

We try to visit Charleston at least once per year. We have stayed at Isle of Palms,Mt Pleasant,Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. The first two times that we visited Folly Beach we stayed at a different condo. It was nice however it was just average. Then we found this unit and have stayed there on our last two visits and will continue to stay there on all future visits. The owner of this unit has made it very comfortable and you won't find a cleaner condo anywhere.. The furnishings look like new and the two screened in porches facing the Folly River give you an outstanding and quiet view of the river. If yoiu forget anything from home don't worry about it. Marie has provided for all of your needs. Remember the old saying "It doesn't get any better than this", try it and you too will be a beleiver.

Marie has provided a fabulous property for rental in the Charleston area. The location of this Mariners Cay condo at Folly Beach was perfect for our first visit to both the historic district and the beach. The condo has everything (or more) than you will need during your stay from kitchen supplies, soaps and bath towels to something as simple as providing a Comcast tv channel listing. We appreciated the attention to cleanliness. The screen porch is indeed a wonderful place to relax and take in the sights. It was incredibly easy to get to the historic district. The walk across the bridge to Folly is a breeze. We would absolutely return to Marie's condo if we were ever to visit again.

My husband and I spent the week here it was very quiet & relaxing. We loved sitting on the screened in porch watching the dolphins play at the dock. We found the condo exactly as described in the listing. Everything was well maintained and clean. The owner was quick to respond at any questions we had. The condo was just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We walked to breakfast at the Lost Dog Cafe - a "Must" to try if you are in the area. Everyone was very friendly. I would definately recommend for a stay at Folly.

From the minute we walked into the condo, we were in heaven. Perfect porch overlooking the marina and dock, where our daughter enjoyed saying hi to Daddy while he was fishing. Everything is in perfect condition - the new washer/dryer, the spotless kitchen, the VERY efficient A/C, and the kitchen is perfectly stocked - cake pans, cookie sheets, colanders, even travel mugs for your coffee! The pool was perfect, our two year old loved saying hello to the ducks, and the neighbors were all extremely friendly! Marie (the owner) was great from beginning to end, very communicative, quick to respond to any questions we had. We can't say enough good things about our visit and are counting the days till we can get back there. Thanks again!

The condo was exactly as described. It was clean and teverything was well kept. The people living in the condos were extremely friendly. We absolutely LOVED the screened in porch. We saw several dolphins from the pier. We loved sitting in the chairs on the dock too. The beach was very nice and the condo is located very close to pier. Marie was very helpful and easy to work with. She was extremely prompt in responding to ALL my emails. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back in the future. I definately recommend this VRBO!

One of the best holidays we've had! This condo was very clean and beautifully decorated in a beach theme. We loved sitting on the screened in porch and watching the boats on Folly River. Very relaxing. Marie was exceptionally helpful and easy to deal with. Beautiful Charleston was a 10 minute drive, Folly Beach a few minutes away. Great breakfasts at the Lost Dog Cafe just down the road. Highly recommend this condo.

No surprises - the condo appeared in person just as it did on line. We really liked the screen porch and spent a great deal of time watching the boats and dolphins. The condo was well stocked in all areas - I especially appreciated the kitchen having everything I needed, as I cooked several meals. Marie, and her cleaning staff, provided excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend. this property and this location to anyone.

My aunt and I each live in two communities that are high end vacation locations. We know what excellent lodging and excellent relaxation sites have. This was our first trip to South Carolina and this condo is outstanding. It and the location passes the Napa and the Bend test for excellence. The owner answers emails right away and she calls right away as well. The condo had everything we needed and the cleaning staff checked in with us three times to be sure we were doing well. Sitting on the upstairs balcony or on the screened porch is very relaxing. Across the river on Folly Island, the tempo is very busy. Lots of surf shops and lots of activity. The Condo is in a location just across the river that is the opposite in nature. Very quiet with a nice pool and dock. You will not go wrong renting this condo from this owner!

This has got to be the best possible experience Folly Beach has to offer. Everything is RIGHT about this particular condo. The price, the location, the ease of renting from Marie, and the wonderful charm she puts into this unit. We have vacationed in the Destin, Fl. area for years and none of the condos have welcomed us quite the way this one has at Folly. You truly get the best of everything here such as the wonderful pool, the snack bar/grill literally right next door, the waterfront view of the docks, and only a 2 & 1/2 minute drive to the beach. You will spend twice as much to stay 2 & 1/2 minutes closer to the beach and may not even get the convenient use of a pool. The drive to downtown Charleston is only 15 minutes. We cannot think of any other way our vacation could have been better and will not even consider a different condo when we return next year! The property was very clean and I would recommend this to friends and relatives. There is a reason this unit stays fully booked...check it out!

This condo was wonderful and we could not have asked for any better accoms. It was clean, comfortable with relaxing furnishings and up-to-date decor and offered beautiful views of the Folly River and sunsets. Entertainment was great with a nice pool and a fishing dock out back. It is an easy walk to town and to the beach. Folly beach is quaint and we really appreciated it's not being commercialized. Grociery stores are within a couple of miles with easy access. The owner was friendly and efficient in responding to questions. I would highly recommend this property. We hope to come back and stay again next year!

We spent a wonderful week watching the boats, the fishermen and the sunsets from the dock in the back. This condo has everything you could ask for, right down to the tea bags for iced tea. It was clean and comfortable, and was the perfect place to relax. It was a short drive to downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, for coffee in the morning and happy hour in the afternoon. The balcony off the master bedroom was perfect for the early morning and late night. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

We loved the place. It was nice to have the dock out back to sit and watch sunsets. Marie has the place stocked with all the things you need (pot & pans, towels, etc.) to live nicely. We appreciated the extras like sugar, salt & pepper, dishwashing liquid. These are things I don't expect to find. The condo is nicely furnished and was very comfortable. Would like to stay here the next time I visit Charleston.

We loved our time at Mariners Cay in this condo, and look forward to staying there again. It was nicely decorated with ample space. The amenities were great! The view was spectacular! It was wonderful to wake up in the morning after a restful sleep, and sit on the screened porch with a cup of coffee, and watch the dolphins swim up into the marina. At night we watched the boats come in. It was quiet and peaceful, and so easy to get to the beach as well as historic Charleston. Never noisy. Very safe and secure. The pool area was beautiful, and easy to walk to. We had a wonderful experience, and look forward to our next visit.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week at this condo. It is lovely and we felt right at home. My husband's favorite spot was the screened porch watching the boats on the water, the fishermen on the dock and the dolphins playing in the water. I enjoyed exploring the beaches and riding my bike to nearby Folly Beach. The condo has all the comforts of home and is very clean and well-furnished. We cooked most of our meals there and ate out on the screened porch overlooking the water. We look forward to being back next Summer.

This condo was in the perfect location for our family vacation. It is a direct shot to the beach and minutes from historic Charleston. The condo was exactly as presented in the listing and the dock in the back was excellent. My husband and kids were outside fishing 2 times a day. The pool was close by and clean though we only went there once b/c we were so busy doing touristy things. Marie is great to work with and answered any questions promptly.

Two story condo was perfect for our week get away to the beach. Although not right on the beach the condo has a nice view over looking a marina and is a very short drive to the beach. The facilities were new, well maintained, clean and had everything we needed. One exception, the master bed was a little soft for our taste. Once we flipped the mattress it was better. Overall a very nice place to stay!
