  My husband and I have stayed here twice now and I am online to book our 3rd stay. It just occurred to me that we had yet to leave Hans a review on the lovely place so wanted to take the time to do so. You cannot find a better place on clearwater beach. Beautiful place, beautiful view, and wonderful owners to deal with. We visit clearwater beach every year and plan on staying here for every visit. I cannot say enough about this place.

  We had a wonderful time here. I'm so very picky about cleanliness & this place was VERY clean all the way around. There are lots of security cameras & 24 hour security guards, so you never have to worry about your safety, which was great. You also can't get onto the property, AT ALL, without a key device. There's no doubt, you will not be disappointed with your stay at Mandalay Beach Club. We will be making this a yearly vacation from now on. Thanks Hans & Haydee for sharing your 2nd home with our family.

  We had a great time at this property. The condo was very clean painted nice and had everything needed to relax and enjoy your vacation. The property is very secure no need to be concerned here. Great views nice pool we would return for another stay any time. Harry and Amy Bergner

  We had a wonderful time on our vacation. The condo was perfect, better than we had anticipated! Nicely furnished, great view, walking distance to anything you want. Out of all of our Florida trips this one was out favorite. Thanks again Hans!!

  We stayed at this apartment for 17 nights in April 2012. My husband and I were travelling with our two boys, 7 and 4 years old. The accommodation itself and the Mandalay Beach Club were both fantastic and very well equipped. The communal areas are beautiful and very well maintained. We have stayed at the Sandpearl Resort in a suite and also at the Sandpearl Residences just next door and would only now stay at the Mandalay Beach Club. Easy access to the beach/pool/street. We used the bbqs by the pool on several nights. Hans was very helpful and thoughtful. He answered many queries and was very flexible. We would definitely stay again!

  Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was nice, the view was great, the pool was great, everything outside or associated with the property was perfect. Inside we had a few concerns. The TV was very old, reception would have been good-for 20 year old technology. An HDTV would have been much better. A corresponding, upgraded programming plan would be much better. We would have appreciated having WiFi available IN the condo, not having to go to the clubhouse to check emails. Please consider upgrading the living room furniture (just not comfy) and replace the daybeds with quality twin beds.

  Owner response: The TV is scheduled to be replaced before summer. I agree with you there. I cannot understand why you had to go the clubhouse to check your mails. That never happened to me. I am available all the time, so a simple phone call or e mail could have been sufficient so I could have tried to sort it out. I have requested surveys in the past to guests regarding "upgrading TV programming".The vast mayority expressed they "would rather stay outside than watch TV"; therefore, "upgrading" the TV program was felt unnecessary.As I mention before, this is not just a "rental property". it is also our home, and the daybeds meet our family needs, and we are happy to share our home with those who feel the same way.Hans

  Our family of five stayed at the condo over winter break and had an amazing time! Our vacation was so relaxing thanks to the space available for our kids to play and enjoy themselves. We were within walking distance of everything we needed on Clearwater Beach. We spent many evenings down at Pier 60 enjoying the local artisans. The condo was exactly as described, no surprises. We had a beautiful view of the pool and beach. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. We ate most of our meals in and even ate a few meals on the patio which was so pleasant. The third bed in the 2nd bedroom was ideal for our family. The property was very well kept both inside and out and the staff was top notch (very professional and helpful). Hans was great to work with and even followed up to see how our vacation went. I would definitely recommend this condo and we are even considering booking again in the near future!

  My husband and our two children (16 & 23) spent the week of thanksgiving in this beautiful condo. The property was clean and had all of the amenities one would expect in a luxury condo. The views of Clearwater Beach were unobstructed. You cannot see the sunset from the balcony of the condo, but it is awesome from the pool area or the beach, of course. The beach was expansive and we never felt crowded. There are miles to walk or run on the beach and the white sand and warm gulf water was perfect. There were so many nice restaurants in walking distance. Our favorite was Clearwater Wine Co. which you could easily pass by and never know what a gem you missed. Clearsky Beachside Cafe was always good; we visited three times, great wait staff. Crabby Bill's Clearwater was a nice family place with good food and live music. The Gondolier had the most fantastic pizza, not exaggerating, super fresh toppings and tons of cheese. It seemed to have a younger family atmosphere. Cooter's rum punch was killer; get the Meyer's shot on top and "say no" to whimpy drinks! A block away from the condo is the Fun Ride Rentals (inside the Hilton parking ramp). It is a family owned business with the most friendly and patient staff. We rented four mopeds and spent the day traveling the coastline to Treasure Island. St. John's Pass was worth the trip. Dinners were a bit pricey, but that is relative to the midwest USA that we are used to. Hans was a pleasure to work with and he even brought us a small cooler for the beach. There were pleanty of beach towels & chairs. The gym, common areas and pool were perfectly maintained. There was some remodeling going on in the condo above us on one morning, but the workers were conscientious and worked swiftly to minimize any disturbance. Overall, a wonderful vacation. Thank you Hans & Haydee for sharing your home. We will be back!

  Excellent! Renting from VRBO #305392 was a really good experience. The condo was everything and more than the description. We had everything we needed for inside and outside. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The groungs were spotless. The beach was beautiful. Every sunset was spectacular. We had fine dining and fun dining, all within walking distance. Thanks to Hans for making it all possible.

  Our family stayed here in Oct 2011, and found the condo clean, perfectly located, and beautifully decorated. We had searched for weeks trying to find the 'right' condo for our vacation - many were outdated, or over-priced. This condo was perfect! We were met by the owner upon our arrival, and were provided their contact information in case of any questions or problems... The owners are kind and personable, and the unit is perfect.. We enjoyed our trip, and had a real 'vacation'! (-:
