My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time staying on the Lilypad! We were looking for a last minute getaway and stumbled upon this hidden gem right in the middle of downtown Boston! The boat had everything we needed and then some! We spent most of our time hanging out on the roof deck just taking in the sights and sounds of the waterfront. The best part about the boat was definitely the location. It's right where we wanted to be, right in the middle of all the waterfront action, Fanueil Hall, and the North End. Anyone who stays here has to go to Mike's Pastries. We went for dessert both nights and it was AMAZING! The only negative we saw was that the TV only received a few basic channels but who needs TV when you're staying on a boat in Boston Harbor! I'll definitely go back again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

About the owner: For about 10 years I lived aboard a restored houseboat in Boston Harbor. I really fell in love with the lifestyle. Having a cup of coffee on the front porch in the morning, grilling up some steaks on the roof deck in the evening, and being rocked to sleep by the waves at night was a great way to live!
Why the Owner Chose Boston:
I grew tired of boring hotel rooms while traveling, and realized that the funkiest parts of town were often right at the waterfront. I combined my love for house boating with my desire to offer a fun alternative to hotel stays.
The Unique Benefits at this House Boat:
Everything you will need for your stay is provided. All towels, linens, blankets, etc... are all waiting for your arrival. The kitchen comes complete with all the pots and pans, plates and cutlery you will need, while a coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove, and gas grill make putting together a meal easy and convenient.
