This beautiful condo is located in the Savannah Beach and Racquet Club. It is private, gated and safe. It is blocks from all kinds of shopping and wonderful restaurants. Tybee is just 18 miles east of Savannah and is a low-key seaside resort with a 3-mile long beach and sea-oat-covered sand dunes, just perfect for sunbathing, recreation and relaxing. The south-end pier and pavilion is a spendid venue for strolling above the ocean and listening to the live bands.
Savannah has a multitude of great restaurants and nite life with taxi services available. "The Breakfast Club" restaurant on Tybee was just shown on a PBS special as one of the best breakfast place in the US. The beautiful town squares of Savannah were shown in the movie Forrest Gump and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. You can take horse and buggy as well as bus tours of Savannah. Tybee now offers pedicabs for a fun tour of the island. electric cars and bike rentals are readily available.
Savannah Beach and Racquet Club has wonderful bridge access over the dunes to the beautiful beach. If you like beach walks you can walk all the way to the downtown Tybee Island pavillion which is about 1 mile via the beach. Chairs and recliners are furnished around the pool but bring your own chair, towels and drinks for relaxing at the beach.

My husband and I stayed here with my grown son, his wife, and my parents (55+). We loved it. Clean, quiet, and close enough to walk to the beach for sunrise. We enjoyed the game and movie collection at night. We'd love to visit again in the future!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a very nice time on Tybee Island over the 4th of July, The condo was very clean and accurately list by owner. The property has 3 large pools with one close to this unit. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Owner very easy to work with. Thanks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.
