  We enjoyed so much the beautiful place to hide out! It was nice to stay in the "guest quarters" for just the two of us! We wanted to get away to celebrate our 25th anniversary! The view was awesome from the "lower floor"! The Lord was good to give us a beautiful sunset over the ocean one evening as a bonus! We also enjoyed that our cell phone did not have reception inside the building! We were able to totally relax! Thanks for sharing! We also enjoyed visiting with Don and Kay and learning the history of the house!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  I've been spending time most summers at various condos in Oceanside for the past thirty years. It's my very favorite place in the world. The condo at which I stayed this past summer was the very best quality for the price so far. I've been very happy with all 10 to 12 places I've stayed over the years but the guest quarters at Dream Vacation Spots topped them all. All I needed was one bedroom but the condo was very roomy, clean, with a full living room, kitchen, and wonderful view. The building also has three other units which will accommodate larger groups. I also loved the many windows that could be opened to appreciate the sounds, smell, and feel of the glorious Pacific.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  Owner response: Thank You for the lovely review. Just to clear up a misunderstanding; the top three levels, are what we call the Main House. It rents to families or large groups. Those needing a larger space also rent the 'condo" we call the Guest Quarters. Thanks Kay and Don

  We stayed only two days and the weather was beautiful. We took a day trip up 101, stopping at the Tillamook Cheese Factory and on to The Myrtle Wood Factory in Garibali. We stopped at the Alderbrook Golf Course for a wonderful meal. We loved our stay in your large beautiful home with your resident Seagull on the deck. We didn't feed him. Having our first cup of coffee, while sitting on the porch swing and enjoy your wonderful view made the stay perfect. Thanks again

  Don and Kay, We got back yesterday from our stay. We had a great time. The weather was about perfect, cool with little rain. I think this is the 3rd or 4th time our family has rented your place for our family reunion/vacation get away. We think you have a great place; the large kitchen and living room are great places to sit and get reacquainted with family. Sincerely, Nathan

  Celebrating a 50th anniversary was truly amazing! Walking along beaches and finding treasures was very fun. It never rained during our stay here. Every night our large family witnessed the gorgeous sunset which of course the view here is beautiful.

  A 40th wedding anniversary is in itself an amazing thing. We chose to spend ours here because 40 years ago, during our first year of marriage we visited the Oregon Coast and have remembered it ever since as one of the most spectacular places in American. This time we walked the beach discovering incredible treasures, found the "Lost Boys" cave and enjoyed hours watching whales and sea lions. We enjoyed evenings at Roseanna's Cafe, The Schooner and The Pelican Brew Pub (in Pacific City. We played games, told stories and built a fire on the beach with our four children. Thank you for your wonderful home and the lasting memories you have given us.
