Recently renovated/decorated pool-side one-bedroom first floor cottage with veranda is set in a serine tropical landscaped resort community with walking paths, water ponds leading to the beach. Miramar beach has been rated one of the top beaches in the world, with it's sugar white sand beaches and crystal blue water. Visitors come from around the world to enjoy the setting. Hidden Dunes was one of the first high-end resort communities build in the Sandestin area and had the luxury of spreading two-story cottages over lavishly landscaped beach-front.
The resort it know for its clay tennis courts for the tennis enthusiast. The community is very kid friendly and our cottage in particular is perfect for the youngsters as well as all ages.

If you want access to a great pool, the Hidden Dunes pool outside this unit is wonderful. You don't have a great view of the pool due to the foliage, but it is just outside your porch door. The community is gated and quiet. The unit set up is adequate for 2-4 people. The decor is a little dingy/dated looking. Possibly due to the colors being so neutral. The couch unit is quite uncomfortable if you happen to be in viewing TV. We did not untilize it for bedding so I can't speak for its comfort. The master bed is adequate in comfort. The TV is quite small in the master bedroom. If you are looking for good/easy acess to the beach, Hidden Dunes is NOT for you. If you have anyone in the party that has mobility issues, you have small children, or if you like to carry chairs/toys/cooler to the beach, this unit provides an inconvenience. They do have a golf cart and driver that can pick you up at your door during certain months, however, once it drops you off, you have a long boardwalk that curves around to the front of the highrise condo tower that sits on the beach, and then a steep set of stairs to tackle. The owner of this unit was easy to work with.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Year Purchased: 1998
About the owner: We are a family of four with a fifteen and twelve year old boy and girl. My wife and I are junior high sweetheats and have been vacationing in Hidden Dunes for 20+ years and truly love it. We own a national commercial interior design firm and are active members at the Vineyard church in Columbus Ohio. We love to travel the world as a family and spend much of our free time in Europe.
Why the Owner Chose Hidden Dunes:
My wife and I had vacationed in Sandestin Hidden Dunes Resort for many, many years and just feel in love with its unique setting and we ran across our cottage during one vacation and desired to purchase.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Many of our repeat renters, friends and family love the location because of it being right on the pool and a short walk to the beach, it gives them the best of both worlds at a lower rate. Plus the setting is unmatched in the area, Hidden Dunes' landscaping and architecture is awesome. Not only is there easy beach access, their are two pools (one heated) and a fishing lake within the community. The community is beach front so no roads to across outside of the community low speed roads and cart paths.
