The kitchen features granite counters and a granite island as well as stainless appliances. We also have a gas barbecue on our very private backyard patio complete with seating for six.
Our Beach Home is fully furnished and ready to be your next family beach vacation or romantic getaway.
The Qualicum Landing Community is located on just over 15 acres property that includes rare walk-on waterfront. Benefits include a clubhouse with an outdoor swimming pool. Perfect get away from the city to a place that offered everything one would be looking for. The three bedroom, 2 bath unit was the ideal home base for a weekend of golf, bike riding and paddleboarding, right out the front door. The kitchen, spacious and well appointed was well suited for preparing the feasts that follow and were enjoyed either in the dinning room or sizable outdoor patio set next to the natural forest. A waterfront bonfire in the evening completed one of many perfect days. And yes, going back for more... JJRecommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

What a place. Not only were the accomodations clean, bright and well designed but it was only 100m from the beach where we were able to paddle board and have a fire in the firepit, 5 minutes to the golf course where we played a few rounds of golf and 15 minutes to town where we were able to stock up on refreshements. Ohh and I forgot the pool and hottub....We would defintely recommend the place to any of our friends and hope to be back next year. Many thanksRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just rented this lovely unit ( 3 bedrooms and 2 baths) and found it to be well appointed, very comfortable and spacious. It is a good layout for a family or friends, with good beach and pool access. The weather was great when we were there and that made using the back patio and BBQ (right in line with the setting sun) really nice. Also as the unit opens to an undeveloped area behind it, there was privacy except for the deer and fawns who kept coming by. All in all a really nice place to stay, and one that I would recomend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

We came to relax, reconnect with some friends, have a few good meals, go to the beach, share some laughs, do some cycling and go golfing. Thanks for delivering on all counts! Your cottage was awesome - it's so well appointed, the mattresses were firm, sunny patio was large and spacious and the beach was spectacular. The club house pool and hot tub were refreshing after taking in some of the island's best golf courses that were only a few minutes from our door. We also used the community's fire pit on the beach which was a great place to sit back, look at the stars, listen to some music and shoot the breeze.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Charlene and Craig, Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home. Our family spent a most wonderful Thanksgiving there. It is thoughtfully equipped right down to the Guest Handbook that eliminated research and questions about the stay. The cottage is very roomy and relaxed. Days were spent walking on your beach, hiking Little Qualicum Falls nearby and playing match after match of Scrabble. One could not ask for anything more. Thank you again for a memorable stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I decided that with 2 young kids we wanted to have a beach home where the kids could run around and explore the area without us having to constantly be worried about them. We found that the kids loved having the freedom that they simply do not enjoy living in the congested area of the Lower Mainland (Vancouver). Why the Owner Chose Qualicum Beach:
We chose Qualicum Landing because of the close proximity of a big island city (Nanaimo) yet far enough away that you do not feel you are living in a city. Qualicum Beach is a wonderful town filled with quaint restaurants, shops and very easy-going people. The idea of having the beach so close by and a pool/hot tub makes this a great time for our family and hopefully yours.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our place is located just 1 minute away from the beach in one direction and 1 minute away from the clubhouse. There are fire pits on the beach area that are private to our community. If you want to go into town, Qualicum Beach is only 10 minutes away and Nanaimo is 35 minutes away. One of our favorite things to do, is to go by the beach late in the evening and watch the sunset and then run back home and watch a DVD movie for the evening!
