We were looking for a nice, quiet few days after a seminar on the beach side. That's exactly what we got. Small but well-appointed condo. Love the Village and have stayed in Bahia but not Grand Sandestin. Loved it! Owner Silvano was so helpful and readily available to answer questions before and during our stay. Photos accurately reflect the condo, though kitchen is nicer than the pics. Great description of the area. VERY short walk from Grand to shops and dining. Very quiet in room and on balcony. This is a 1BR efficiency. Great to not have to check in. Just read your info and follow exactly what it says and you will have no probs. You can pull up to the front and a bellman WILL help you, even though you are renting. Then you can park. We never saw carts down in parking area. We did wish that there was a bar or snacks available by the pool. The bar inside wasn't open during the day. Most people got takeout from one of the village eateries. Again, great place for two adults relaxing. Would rent again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

looking for a romantic getaway? THis is the place. You are located right in the middle of Baytowne. The night life is within walking distance. You can park your car in a secure garage and leave it until you are ready to go home. The unit is small but nice, Has personality, the owner has done a great job decorating this unit { no cheap condo furniture here} So if you want a fun time in Destin this is the place. This unit has a private patio that overlooks the front enterance of the Grandsanddestin. It is located on the fifth floor so you get a great view of the area without all the noise,plus it gets morning sun. You can relax on the patio anytime of day and be comfortable.I went on a girl trip here and plan to go back with my husband.You can not beat the location. Oh yeah, I almost forgot you don't even have to check in. Just go to your room and relax!!!!! Remember if location is what you are looking for this is the place to stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

MY HUSBAND AND I VACATIONED WITH TWO CHILDREN TO DESTIN FOR THE FIRST TIME. WE WERE SLIGHTLY APREHENSIVE ABOUT BEING MISLEAD BY THE PHOTOS AND MAKING ARANGEMENTS TO PAY BY PHONE. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH HOW PROFESSIONAL THE OWNERS WERE AND HAVING ALL OF THE DETAILS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT PRIOR TO PURCHASE. THE HOTEL WAS GREAT AND VERY CLOSE TO THE LOCAL ATTRACTIONS WITH A SHORT DRIVE ACROSS THE ROAD TO THE BEACH. THE CONDO WAS REALLY NICE BUT SMALL. BUT FOR A FAMILY WITH TWO SMALL CHILDREN, IT SUITED US JUST FINE. OVERALL WE HAD WONDERFUL TIME WITH NO SIGNS OF THE GULF OIL SPILL AND WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.
