  This was such a perfect rental for a weekend or longer for 2 people. The unit was spotlessly clean, cute and very liveable for at least a week. The beach couldn't be any closer! The Dipsea trailhead is a short walk away as are Stinson's restaurants & shops. Point Reyes and Bolinas are a short drive or bike away. Kayak rental is walking/portaging distance, too. Wifi worked great! We never heard our neighbors. The only advice I'd have for another tenant is this: if you can - bring towels. Those in the unit, which I'm guessing are provided by a service, are small and thin (but there are plenty!). I get that-- anything big and fluffy might disappear or get used as a beach towel. It wasn't at all an issue for us but others might notice. If you stay here, keep an eye out for the otter who visits the beach in the AM. We saw him both mornings about an hour after sunrise.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway.

  I really loved my stay this New Year- The apartment was very clean and well outfitted. The sea view was always wonderful - I have some lovely pictures of the sunsets.

  We had a wonderful 5 days at SB in this charming, spacious one-bedroom apartment. The owner has really seen to every possible detail; the main room/kitchen was quite large and homey, the bedroom had a nice big bed; the bathroom was just fine -- and everything was gleaming clean when we arrived. The provided portable beach chairs were great on the beach, and the shore view is great from the main room. Cozy, romantic, quiet, easy to find, great parking, nice outside patio/eating area, even a deck . . . We truely felt like we were in another world, with the days both endless and flying by. And Stinson and environs is perfect for a quieter vacation. Can't wait to return!

  My first take upon walking into the apartment was how comfortable it appeared. The view of the ocean and the sounds of the shore through those windows helped me relax immediately after the two hour drive from Sacramento. Take the 15 minute drive into Bolinas to a well stocked general store for the things you forgot at home. Less expensive, too.

  Oceanfront was a home from home. So much fog and nature on the door step. Everything was perfect. Parkside cafe was delicious and cooking in the apartment whilst watching the ocean was a delight.

  We really enjoyed the rental, everything has been well maintained and was clean upon arrival. The amenities were excellent, thanks for the use of the boogie board and beach chairs. This is an excellent rental if you plan to cook instead of eating out every meal and the location can't be beat. I would recommend adding privacy curtains in the bedroom - it was extremely bright in the mornings and we would have liked to be able to sleep in a bit later in a dark room. I would also recommend adding a small first aid kit for minor cuts and such, everything else was greatly appreciated!

  My husband and I spent the weekend at this cute little place and loved it! The beach is right out the door, and within walking distance is everything you need - a market, a couple restaurants and a cafe, a park etc. Everyone was so friendly. The unit itself was great. Quiet, spacious but intimate, perfect for one person or a couple. All the logistics of getting in, and how to work everything were handled very well by the owner. When we needed to find out for example how to work the DVD player, she was available by phone. All those little annoying things that happen when you go away, like things don't work, or you can't find stuff, etc, didn't happen. We would definitely come here again.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  This is a fantastic one-bedroom apartment, right on the doorstep of Stinson beach. I rented the apartment with my boyfriend, as we had hoped for something cozy right on the beach, and this was absolutely perfect. The place is newly renovated, and everything that you need is there. There was even a gas BBQ, which was a pleasant surprise. The place is charming and quiet, the perfect location for a romantic getaway for 2.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
