Located on Scenic Highway 30A, about five miles west of quaint and popular Seaside, this one bedroom second floor condo provides you with a great view of the ocean and sugar white sandy beaches. Perfect for a romantic beach retreat or family vacation. There are bunk beds in the hallway which are great for children if needed and the sofa pulls out into a sleeper.
We now have updated pictures for your convenience. Our updates are one year old, you will find that our unit is very nice and relaxing. It is fully equipped, we have just added more cabinets in the kitchen area, tile thru out and a breakfast bar. We hope that you will find our unit comfortably decorated. You may enjoy the convenience of on-site bike rentals, restaurants (SEE MAP BELOW), pharmacy, cool shops, and an outdoor amphitheater with seasonal music, movie offerings, featured artists and free community events & festivals.
Our guest have access to two pools/hot tubs, one at the Cabanas and the other at the Caribbean which is next door. Tennis courts are located in the back of the property, closest to 393, they are first come, first serve.
Only 7 miles east of Destin's great restaurants and shopping....yet a step back from all the hustle & bustle of the traffic, high-rises and crowded beaches. You will be approx. 75 yards from Santa Rosa's beautiful white sandy beaches. You can also enjoy the community feel by taking a walk or renting a bike and riding down the 18 mile stretch of bike path that is populated with numerous State Parks, Nature Trails & Coastal Dune Lakes all along the Scenic 30A corridor.
We hope that we have given you enough information, for decision making purposes, and when making your choice for the beach it will be at Gulf Place Cabanas, Unit 210. Our unit is well furnished and clean so when you come to the beach for an extended stay, you will have all the comforts of home.
We do believe that this year (2012) is going to be an exceptional year for the beach. There is no other place like 30-A.

Why the Owner Chose Gulf Place Cabanas
We loved the area, 30-A was off the beaten path of traffic. You can walk across the street to the beach and watch the sunset. There is a view of the ocean from the deck of the condominium. It is very relaxing and quite.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Location! Location! Location! You can ride a bike down 30-A, on the walking/biking trail, until your legs won't ride anymore. There is always a place to stop to shop or get a beverage. We have bike rentals on the property, two Publix stores within 5 miles, both on 98, convenient to Seaside, Watercolors and Seagrove. Plenty of places to go eat, if you like golf, we have the Santa Rosa Beach Club and golf course, all right down the street. Perfect!
This is where people come down and have weddings and receptions. They did have "the Best Martinis",,,,not sure anymore.
Great food, www.stinkysfishcamp.com, sometime they have entertainment, can't say all the time.

You can walk across the street from the condo and go to the beach this way. There are no steps when you go PB, It is directly across from "Miss Lucille's"
I don't know about you but I love to ride the bike at the beach, do yourself a favor and rent it for a few days, you can ride for miles......
Easy access to beach, directly across the street with a designated pedestrian crosswalk. You can see this entrance from the deck in our unit. Very convenient!!
Fun place, great wines and beer. Go try it out, music on Thurs.

We just got home from the beach, another wonderful Fourth of July week. You can see fireworks in every direction while sitting on the beach. We turn the radio on and watch them down at Seaside and Watercolors. If, you haven't had the chance to come down to the beach this year, try and make it. The water and weather have been great.
The new Walmart opened this July, it is rather small but houses everything you might need. I still like the Publix store best for my groceries,,,,,some things you can't change.
Get your groceries, pack the car and come to the beach....

My family just returned from a relaxing stay at this condo. We have rented this unit from Judy and Al in the past and would not hesitate to come back. The condo is cute and comfortable, and we loved the renovations. My 2 young daughters really enjoyed having breakfast at the breakfast bar each morning, and, of course, the bunk beds are always a big hit with kids! The kitchen was well furnished and had everything I could have possibly needed to prepare dinner on the one night we decided to eat in instead of going out. With both a pool and gulf view, the balcony is a really nice spot to unwind after a day in the sun.

I recently stayed in this Condo at Gulf Place Cabanas. It was my first time visiting this area of Florida. It was also my first time booking accommodations through VRBO. I will have to say both first times couldn't have been better. The location of this property is amazing. The views are incredible. There is so much to do on the property itself, you would never need to leave if you didn't want to. If you do want to leave there is nothing that isn't either a short walk or bike ride away. I was so impressed with the ease of booking. The owners always answered any questions I had with incredible timing and went out of her way to locate information and area services that were important to me. I will 100% be staying in this Condo again, my only regret is that I could not stay longer on this trip. Fabulous Rental and I would highly recommend.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed here mid July 09 and enjoyed everything about it. The condo is very nice, perfect for the two of us! The location is great and we especially enjoyed coffee in the morning and ice cream in the evening at Lucille's. Judy was so gracious in accomodating us at the last minute and was eager to make sure we had everything we needed. You can't go wrong renting this unit and visiting this area. We will likely return to Santa Rosa and will certainly rent from Judy again if we do.

My family of 5 LOVED this unit!!! First of all, the owners are EXTREMELY friendly and wonderful people. They are our new friends now!!! Next, everything in the unit was PERFECTLY polished and clean. The linens seemed to be brand new..and the bed was super comfy! I love the relaxed-beachy decor too. Having 3 small children, the 2nd floor was ideal. We could look out over the pool without being worried one or all would escape to the pool without a parent. In our opinion, there is no better place than SRB. (yes, we've been to several Carribbean beaches and Hawaii) And, there's no better place to stay than this unit. We travel with 6 other families... and a few of my friends that saw the unit said "we want this one next year." The location is GREAT--close to Destin and PCB... great shopping and food. Also, we enjoyed the bike trails and tennis court. 30-A is incredible with SRB, Grayton Beach, Seaside, and Rosemary. This condo/unit is the BEST place for families...safe, warm, friendly, and relaxed! PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!
