Another great stay here thanks to Rob and his family's chalet. The house is just perfect and very well maintained, with all the amenities we could ask for. We were 2 couples and 2 young kids, with plenty of room thanks to the well though-out layout of the house. Very affordable as well considering the great location!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: I am so glad that this home has exceeded expectations. We take great pride in cleanliness and affordability and its great location. We don't rent out the home that often (because we use it for our own family) but any guests that do are really pleased with its location and the renovated residence itself. The home is always kept in tip top shape and professionally cleaned to perfection. Thank you for the awesome comments. Rob

Our family emigrated from the uk a number of years ago, we have skied all of our lives. We found this home on vrbo and have rented it three times this winter we enjoyed it so much! the home is awesome and has everything you need, it is very cozy and cute. It is located between both mountains, this is awesome, we could go to either base depending on what we wanted to ski in five minutes! We want to come back in summer to see what it is like to sit on the beach this summer at alta lake, it looks awesome. The owner rob was very helpful in helping us organize our trip. Highly recommend this home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This cozy (but not so little) chalet is in a great location between Whistler Village and Creekside. We were 2 couples with 2 young children and it was lots of room. It had every amenity we needed, comfortable beds, very clean, and very affordable! You can tell the owners put a lot of pride in their vacation home... Thanks again for letting us stay in your chalet, it was perfect for our group.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.
Owner response: We take alot of pride in our home. It is professionally cleaned and maintained. It has all the amenities needed for day to day living in Whistler wether you are cooking a meal or just relaxing enjoying the mountain views. Our home's central location (close to either mountain) has brought visitors from all over the world! Thanx for staying with us!!

Awesome value, great location. Perfect for our family of four. Great fireplace and sleeping space. Thanx Rob for helping us organize, really appreciate it!! Love the old time look of the house with all of the modern amenities.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: The home is perfect for families or individual romantic getaways. It is set up to have babies stay (playpen etc). We keep the home in meticulous condition so the guests can feel comfortable in a clean environment (professionally cleaned). The house from the outside really gives you a retro feel, the inside has all of the modern features of your own home (LCD Tv's, wireless, cable etc, bbq, etc.) with lots of room for your family and friends.. The home is centrally located 5 min from either mtn, so skiing or snowboarding is at your finger tips. We keep the rental price reasonable so that individuals or families dont have to pay an arm and a leg to enjoy all the beauty that Whistler has to offer.

We had a wonderful time at the chalet! It's in a fantastic location only minutes from Whistler Village. It's beautifully renovated and very comfortable and accommodating. A couple things to note so that you can ensure it's a good fit for your family: the bottom floor is occupied by a renter, which was a surprise to us as it wasn't mentioned anywhere. It wasn't necessarily a problem, but it's definitely something we would have liked to have known beforehand since we typically opt for private home rentals over hotels because we enjoy having a place all to ourselves. Also, all three bedrooms have bunk beds, so while it would be a great fit for a large group, it wasn't a perfect fit for the romantic getaway me and my husband had in mind. We actually had to sleep in separate bedrooms to sleep comfortably. Other than that, I would highly recommend the chalet for a large group or family. You can't beat the location! The natural beauty is breathtaking and we even saw a baby bear wandering through the backyard.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: The home is completely renovated with all new beds/ mattresses, carpet and furniture it offers approx 1500 of fine Whistler living at a very reasonable price. The location is perfect for families or couples who enjoy both lake summer fun or mountain winter sports. It is centrally located from Alta Lake or either mountains. There is an onsite caretaker/tenant that resides in the separate ground floor suite, we live in the city so this arrangement allows us the comfort of knowing that the chalet can be kept in the best condition possible for all of our guests!! PS watch out for those black bears!! Thanx for the great comments. We'll see you again next year.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my family. We loved the ability to walk to the lake for a swim or jump on our bikes and visit the village. My kids went ga ga over the number of TV's especially the ability to watch TV while in the bathroom! Spacious comfortable living area, kitchen small but was very sufficient. Many bedrooms and a lovely deck. We hope to be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: If you like the retro feel of an old school 70's chalet with all the modern conveniences of a modern day home then this chalet will suit your needs, heated floors (bathroom), custom furniture amd much more....It is close to the bus, lake, the trails and the village, so you can get your day off to a great start quickly!!! Thanx for staying with us!!! Seeyou next year.

The cabin had everything we needed for our family vacation. There was enough room for our boat, bikes, golf equipment and everything else we brought. It was in the perfect location that we could wheel our boat down to Alta Lake with the kids in it every morning. We even caught a few great fish. The kids loved that they could go for bike rides and walks on the paved paths to the village and park. Great place to enjoy everything whistler has to offer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanx so much for the great comments. Our family uses this home in both summer and winter. We love both the lake in the summer and the skiing and snow boarding in the winter. When we dont use the chalet we like to rent it out to families just like ours at reasonable prices so that they can enjoy the beauty that Whistler brings in both seasons without paying a fortune. Look forward to hosting you again next summer....great catch on the fish!

Me and my young family stayed here for a week this winter. The chalet was perfect for us. It was clean, toasty warm, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The location is quiet and was perfect for my non-skiing mother to take walks by the lake. This is a great value chalet in a very overpriced resort!! We'll be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We keep it reasonably priced for families like our own who dont want to spend a fortune on accomodations to enjoy the beauty of Whistler. Thanx for staying with us.

This is a wonderful Chalet located off the beaten track but still close to the local bus stop. It's a short ride to the village. If you enjoy walking it's a short hike to the village. In previous years we stayed in a very cramped condo in Creekside. This place is spacious by comparison. It was wonderful to come home each night to a warm, comfortable winter abode. The washer and dryer were great for cleaning and drying soggy snowboarding clothes. The beds and bedding were very nice. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. We plan on returning.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I had the amazing opportunity to rent this great ski chalet in December (2010). We travelled with our children and my parents and the home is very cozy and well appointed. Our kids loved the bunk room downstairs (and the flat screen tv in the bathroom!) The neighborhood is great and the location to Whistler Village is very convenient. There was an a ton of snow on the ground... so the kids were able to play in the yard in the snow. The house is well set up for large families or groups. Each of the three rooms is like a master suite. The home has everything you could need and more. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return again next winter. We travelled from Hawaii to stay in Whistler and working with the homeowners was very easy and everything was ready when we arrived. The home has a great Whistler feel and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone interested.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Stayed here for a week in September 2010. The location of this Chalet couldn't be better - located about 2 blocks from Alta Lake and a 5 minute drive to Whistler Village, it was close enough to everything to be very convenient yet far enough away (nestled within the Alta Lake subdivision) to provide a quiet and relaxed experience. The Chalet itself is "as advertised", ie clean, spacious, warm and inviting, and the owner was particularly attentive to all of our needs. The washer & dryer was a welcome amenity during a week of hiking in the local Provincial Parks. Bottom line is that we enjoyed our stay here very much, and recommend it highly to anyone looking for quality, cost-effective self catering accommodation in the Whistler area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for one week in July and had a great time (weather was fantastic). If you like the vibe of old-school ski chalets then you'll appreciate this house. Owner's description very accurate. Tastefully renovated interior with lots of room for our family of five. Great location near Alta Lake & quick acess to paved bike trail with lots of single-track in area so we biked like crazy. Takes about 10min ride & 25min walk on main trail to get to town. Plenty of parking space. Kitchen is compact. Upstairs got warm during the hotter days so interior fans or a/c would be a good future upgrade.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.
