Most reviews will show both Pros & Cons -- but this review will only show Pros, since there are no Cons. Here are the Pros, along with my comments: 1. Directly on the Ocean with a large balcony. 2. Location in relation to downtown and restaurants. This Positive can't be expressed enough, as it's nice to be able to walk almost everywhere and leave the car behind. (I highly recommend the following restaurants near this Condo: A. Lost Dog, B. Rita's, C. Loggerheads (directly across the street), & D. Snapper Jacks). 3. Parking -- since parking can be a nightmare and since there is strict enforcement of parking violations, it's nice to leave the car behind & walk. 4. The Unit itself: Nicely furnished & with a private bathroom for each of the 3 bedrooms - a REAL plus! 5. Customer Service: Mary Ann, the owner, is easy to deal with and strives to make your vacation free of worries. We personally saw this aspect first hand. All of this said, I would highly recommend this unit for your enjoyment & vacation. Lloyd & Foye Joslin from Lake Lure, NC

we had six family members in this condo. What a fantastic condo and location. across the street from restaurants/bars, wonderful view of the ocean, great deck!!! we rented bikes for the day ( only $15.00 per bike ) from Matthew across the street from " the Grill " restaurant in town. biked along the beach. If we were ever to come back to the Charleston SC area, we would rent this condo again.

Perfect Getaway!

We loved staying here and definitely plan to come back! The description is accurate - location is right on the beach with beautiful views and easy access to beach, local restaurants, etc. The property is well-maintained and very large - we had more than enough space for the three of us. Mary Ann is very helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. Dining to check out - Tokyo Crepes and Black Magic Cafe. Both within 2 blocks and delicious. We are telling our friends about this place.

Just Perfect

This was our first trip to the area. Our family of 5 had a fantastic time. Plenty of space. Clean unit. Easy access to the pools and beach and downtown area. Great location for day trips into Charleston. We plan on returning at some point in the future!! Mary Ann was great to work with.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The condo was clean and well-appointed. It was in a beautiful location central to ammenities. Mary Ann was very helpful with all our questions. We would definitely stay there again and hope to go back next year. Would recommend the Taco Boy Restaurant. Was very good.

I highly recommend this oceanfront Folly Beach condo to all, it is so beautiful all the way around. The condo itself was clean, spacious and provided the best view of the ocean and all of its beauty. This place was just walking distance away from great food, shopping and other fun attractions and only a short drive to the great historical Charleston area. My husband and I, along with all of our friends who visited will make this an annual vacation!!

Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just got back from a wonderful vacation on Folly Beach and wished we could've stayed longer. Pictures do not do this rental justice. The owner was very accommodating and I would recommend it to friends and family members. It is good for couples, young children, and seniors. It was really 15 minutes to Charleston by car. Getting up early, having coffee on the terrace and watching the sunrise and surfers was my favorite part of the day. Great restaurants all around. We never had a bad meal. It is a great location for those who want to spend time between city and beach. We look forward to coming again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Loved your villa...great ocean view! A great way to start your day...seating on the balcony...watching the surfers and listening to the ocean waves while enjoying a cup of coffee. The pools and beach were clean & relaxing but no bathrooms nearby, only a Portopotty, which I admit was very clean, but a little cramped. The shops were near and the restaurant at the pier was outstanding, the best "She Crab Soup" & Shrimp & Grits I ever had. Enjoyed a sightseeing day in Charleston, only 15 minutes from the beach. Thanks again for sharing your unit with us. Look forward to next time... :-)

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This condo was nice and was in a awesome location, but needed some cleaning. It looked as if it hadn't been mopped in several weeks. It really needed a serious cleaning. We left it cleaner than when we got there... There also was not enough keys to get in and out of the condo which was very annoying...you need a key to get in and out onto the beach and also to get in the pool area. There were 8 people staying in the condo and only 2 keys were provided. The last thing is the elevators were horrable. Didn't work half the time and the times it did work it was extremly slow! We used the stairs most of the time. The outside of the condos were very maintained and very clean. I hope you find this info helpfull

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Owner response: Thank you for your comments. Extra keys are available at the unit upon request.. I had walked thru the properrty before Mike had rented it and it looked good. Ann our cleaning lady cleans after every rental which includes mopping the floor, However, if something is missed I would be glad to have Ann come back and take care of it. I had talked with Mike ( who had rented the unit) during his stay. He had not told me know about these concerns. We like our guest to enjoy their stay. I contacted the following vacationers to check up on the unit. They said it was great and they were exploring the beach and Charleston. We want you to have a great holliday! We live on Folly too! Great place to stay!This was our Family vacation and could not ask for a better place The condo was clean and well maintained I was very impressed when we walked in .Great location for walking to shop or eat.The oceanfront view was my favorite my husband and I would sit on the balcony every morning around 6am and drink coffee and watch the surfers.It was so nice we will be staying again.We loved it!!!

Waking up to the ocean view from the master bedroom was the part we liked the best. The jacuzzi in the master bathroom was our second favorite feature. The condo is neat, clean, and attractive decorated in an ocean theme. It is also within walking distance to town. My family enjoyed our stay, and can't wait to visit again.

This was a wonderful experience. The condo was well-equipped and tastefully decorated; however, being on the front beach and hearing the ocean was the best part of all. We also enjoyed evening strolls on the beach, the pool, and watching the ships go by. I can't wait to visit again soon.

Dear Mary Ann, Our family had a fabulous time at Ocean front Villa #315. The sunrise over the rolling waves and the folly pier in the back drop made a perfect start for each day. We spent every morning sipping coffee on the balcony watching the dolphins travel the shoreline. My husband and I took advantage of the lap pool, for we love to exercise. Of course the beach is where we found ourselves the majority of the afternoon. The oceanfront villa made trips to the beach accessible in a flash. Folly beach is truly our favorite vacation destination and staying at your villa really fit the bill. With all the amenities of home, we did not want to depart. Thanks again, we will be contacting you for our next trip. Lauren and Matt White in the US Virgin Islands
