  The Bellamar condos are a great value located close to the hotel zone, restaurants, and shops. My family stayed at the Bellamar for a month last summer and we've already booked to return again this summer! Nancy and Andy are very friendly and accommodating to their guests. They greeted us when we arrived and ensured we had everything we needed and even referred us to a personal driver. The photos here show these condos well and we very much appreciated that it was a small, private, gated community with 24-hr security. The security staff and people we met that lived in the condos were all friendly. We loved the views from our condo and having our own private pool and beach. The water is warm and calm which was perfect for our 22 month old to play in while we sat in lounge chairs relaxing. We had a great summer at the Bellamar and can't wait to go back again!

  My family and I stayed in one of Nancy's condos in Bellamar for a week and we had an amazing time! Tranquil beach, beautiful pool, fully equipped apartment with unbeatable attention/ service from the owner who lives nearby. Located in the Hotel Zone, the secure apartment was home for our family of four, including two little kids. We had a wonderful view of the Caribbean sea, with Isla Mujeres just off at a distance. Nancy gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed. Everything in the apartment was fully functional. The decor was tasteful. It was all in all a very comfortable stay. We'll definitely be back soon!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I hit the vacation lottery when I found this place! Nancy kept in touch with me prior to arriving, with helpful tips and precise directions. Upon our arrival the gentlemen at the security gate already knew who we were & we instantly felt at home. Nancy and Andy greeted us with tequila, beer and hilarious conversation! They're so accomodating and a wealth of information about the area. The apartment is absolutely perfect and has everything we could possibly need. There's a small store on site which is really convenient. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and the beach is breathtaking. We watch the sunrise each morning on the balcony with our coffee. The personalized attention we've gotten from the hosts has been incredible! They've given us "inside tips" on where to go, how to get there and even scheduled spa appointments for us! From the minute we arrived, we felt like family. This entire experience will definitely exceed your expectations!!

  We stayed at the Bellamar Condos for 2 weeks starting Mar.23/12. The unit advertised on Homeaway was booked for the time we needed ,but luckily the owner had another unit available in the same complex! It is located on the 4th floor and has the identical layout as the one advertised, but is decorated in reds, referred to as the "Red" apartment. On our arrival, the condo owners were waiting for us and all to happy to show us around, plus there was a 6 pack of cold beer waiting for us in the fridge! The condo is everything advertised and more, spotless clean, fully equipped, and even included beach towels. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in, I especially loved the 6 burner gas stove, supper was done in a jiffy! The king bed was extremely comfy and the view from the bedroom/balcony was spectacular. There was secured wireless internet for our use also. There was always plenty of spots and chairs on the beach, no need to save a spot by 6 am like other places. The complex itself was very quiet, many of the residents had to get up for work in the morning. The Bellamar staff are very friendly and helpful, very quick to help us with our bags or groceries up the stairs. The condo owners were very helpful also, my husband had a minor illness (brought it from home) so one of them picked us up and took us to a pharmacy so he could get some medicine. The next day, she dropped off home made chicken (matzoh ball) soup for us! What a treat that was to have soup when you are feeling under the weather. The condo is close to the bus so it is easy to get around. The R2 bus will take you to Soriana or Chedraui, both Mexican grocery stores which have good prices and lots of variety. If you have a big load, cabs are easy to find to take back to the condo. There is a laundromat near (across Kukulcan Blvd.) and several little restaurants/bars within walking distance. We miss the Bellamar and all the great people we met. We look forward to our next visit!

  I stayed at the Bellamar for a month (just returned about a week ago) and had the most amazing time! The Bellamar is quiet but has lots to do, and the owners are Fantastic!! Nancy & Andy were so accommodating, and the condo itself was filled with everything you could ever need. Thank you so much, Nancy & Andy, for your kindness and your wonderful accommodations.

  Had a wonderful time at this condo. We were so pleased with the amenities, hospitality and graciousness of our hosts that we have rebooked this condo for next February. And the glorious weather helped also.

  We stayed here for a month, December 2010. It was a perfect place for us! The photos accurately show the condo and it is filled with everything you need and very clean. The kitchen facility was perfect, bedding and towels supplied. The beach in front is kept clean by staff and the water is calm. There are beach chairs and a briquette barbecue to use that are perfect. The staff at the property are very friendly and there is a small store on the property as well that is handy. The condo is located right on the hotel zone strip so you can easily hop on a bus to go to other places in the Hotel Zone. We liked the location because it was close to downtown for our frequent trips to restaurants or to get groceries. In addition, the water in the bay was calm and when we wanted to go where there were larger waves we hopped on a bus and went down the hotel zone to the public beaches with ease. The condo owner lives in Cancun and is easily accessible for anything you need and a very friendly person. Both her and her husband were great to visit with and they pointed out local Mexican eateries to enjoy. Lastly, the other folks staying in the condo facility were friendly and we enjoyed visiting with many of them on the beach. Note: There is a pirate dinner ship that leaves nightly from the dock next door at 7:00 pm, with a cannon shot, and when they return at 10:00 pm you can hear the music, but it does not last long (about 10:30).
