We stayed at the house For 6 days the tail end of June. The owners were very accommodating! My Birthday was on a Friday, and because the house was open, they let us arrive on Thursday.1st impression was the house was so clean, and the updates were very nice.Great house for entertaining ,we had 2 other couples from NJ meet us.6 adults and 2 children were more the comfortable in this house. The outdoor patio area was great! We played games and grilled Lobsters of course at night after the beach.Kitchen had everything we needed.Even a Keurig! Internet access these days are a must.We all connected our smart phones the very moment we we done checking out how great the house was. Restaurants and shops within walking distance!I could really go on and on but instead I will be emailing the owners and booking next years vacation! And our friends from NJ will be joining us again, they were not able to stay the whole week and said next yr they will be!

Fell in love with Narragansett and this home!
Fell in love with Narragansett and this home!
I stayed here during the 4th of July week with my boyfriend and three other couples. We were all attending a wedding in Narragansett for a college friend, and we found that for the cost of 3 nights in a mediocre hotel, we could swing a rental for the week and be able to cook meals, play games at night, etc. Sue was great about letting us switch up the days - we had to check in on Friday for the Rehearsal dinner, so a typical Saturday to Saturday rental wouldn't have worked for us. She was really accommodating on the schedule. The house was absolutely perfect for us - my favorite things were: -the location! Walking distance to everything- we never got in our cars except to shop at the Shop and Stop -the furnishings- they're modern, beachy and really beautiful- I love the sectional couch, the flatscreen tv and the beautiful bowl sink -the kitchen! Giant, perfect for big group breakfasts, and the Keurig coffee maker was perfect -the bedrooms- it was perfectly suited for 4 couples -the deck - perfect for reading and enjoying an afternoon cocktail The only downsides were no ice maker (we bought a huge bag), a rickety cart for getting to the beach (we made it but it was kind of tough), and....I can't think of anything else! I fell in love with Narragansett on this trip- and would come back again and again if it were convenient to where we live (Atlanta). Unlike other tourist towns which I find cater to tourists and are filled with mediocrity, we loved everything from the amazing Picnic Basket sandwiches, to the great meal at Trio, to the deck at the Coast Guard House. The beach was perfect, too.

Best vacation rental ever!
Best vacation rental ever!
This house, the location, and the owners' attention to detail made this the best vacation rental we've ever experienced! Some of our favorite things: • HOT WATER FOR ALL! Even being last in line for showers after the beach, there was ALWAYS hot water for a shower! Every other rental we've ever stayed in lacked the ability to provide more than a few consecutive hot showers! No problem here! • Washer/dryer/dishwasher! Pure joy! • Pantry space, closets, etc. Being able to stash all our food and clothing in convenient storage spots made it feel just like home! • Outdoor shower! Love being able to rinse off before going into the house! The fenced in yard was a bonus too! We were able to have our dog outside with us without having to tie him up while we lounged on the patio. • The upgraded kitchen is beautiful! The kitchen table is a perfect game/puzzle space occupied for the entire week for that purpose, leaving the large counter-island for eating, food prep, etc. • Ceiling fans I every room! Fantastic! Kept everything comfortable! The ACs upstairs were only on a couple time for sleeping because the house stayed cool all week!. • The coffee maker. Making one cup at a time works out beautifully for those who want coffee at different times of the day! • WiFi access and large-screen TV! If you have teenagers, you know these are critical! The movie package was nice too! We actually "hung out" with our teens watching movies at night! Rare quality time! • Location, location, location! Beautiful neighborhood and easy walking distance to the beach and some of the best spots to eat! Do NOT miss Crazy Burger for breakfast and PJs Pub for after-beach eats! Ten minute drive to Block Island Ferry was nice too! The only thing this rental lacks is a "Make Time Stand Still" button! We hated to see our week end and are already planning two weeks next year! Kudos to the owners for providing everything needed in one beautifully decorated, well equipped, and comfortable home for their renters!

July 4th Week Tenant
July 4th Week Tenant
My family and I rented this home the week of 4th of July. It is less than a ten minute walk to the shops at the Pier and also about that close to the Coast Guard House restaurant. We drove to the beach for the most part because when you're carrying beach chairs and umbrella's it's worth paying the parking charge. It was so nice to go for a walk along the pier at night (a walk way that spans the beach). The house was beautiful and everything was new. Each room had it's own theme and was tastefully decorated. Both bedrooms upstairs had air conditioners and the bedrooms downstairs had fans. The house was roomy and comfortable. Kitchen made us feel right at home and we had all of the little things we needed to enjoy a meal (a can opener, wine opener, and any other thing you may have needed but forgot home etc) Neighborhood was very quiet and made us feel safe. The side yard (back yard) was small but perfect and there was a new beautiful grill. The breeze that blew through the backyard was wonderful when we grilled and ate out there for dinner. The owners were really nice and treated us as if we were friends who had known them for years. They answered any e-mail I sent or phone call if I had questions on where to find something. There was plenty of parking for 4 cars and we thought it was great that there was a washer and dryer. Made it very easy to clean wet beach towels, etc. The couch in the living room was super comfortable. We were sad to leave this lovely home. I will definitely recommend this home to friends. Thanks again for accommodating us!

Why the Owner Chose Narragansett:
We discovered Narragansett 2 years ago and decided to purchase a home here because we loved all the beaches in the area, the restaurants, and the shopping. Historical Newport is only 15 minutes away.
