This beautiful condo is located on the beautiful south-facing (sunny) side of historic Donner Lake. The condo is designed to take full advantage of the tremendous views. It looks directly across the lake at the open space of Donner State Park, and up the lake at the crest of the Sierra Nevada mountains, where the Pacific Crest Trail runs through five miles away.
There are eight alpine ski areas and three touring ski areas within 20 minutes of the condo, catering to the ability levels of all skiers. All kinds of water sports are available in the summer. Swimming is right outside the doors.

We went here for a family get together and had a fabulous time. The property was clean, very well maintained and had everything for a great weekend. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking and BBQing - even had marshmellow cooking sticks for the outdoor community fire pit! We can't wait to go again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Really enjoyed our stay at this Donner Lake Condo. Found the owner to be very helpful and good communication leading up to our stay. Lovely well equipped kitchen which made it even nicer! Found the property itself a bit cold (the sun doesn't get onto that side of the lake much at all!), but the lake front location more than makes up for this! We would not hesitate to recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great outdoors getaway!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.
