This exceptional 2nd floor condo, in one of the most desirable condos in the Island House complex AND on Crescent Beach. The condo is within steps of the beach and ocean. You can't beat the spectacular views. It has 1 king bed and 2 queen beds.
This large, nicely decorated condo is over 1300 square feet with two bedrooms, two baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the guest bedroom has 2 queen beds. Free WI-FI in unit and washer/dryer. Fantastic views of the beach and ocean from almost every room in the condo. My condo is unique because it has 2 lanais (porches to you northerners). One is a typical, although larger, glass and screen lanai and the other is an open air lanai. Perfect for grilling and catching some sun. Both lanais have spectacular views.
Island House is an attractive premier complex located on the widest part of what is judged "The World's Finest and Whitest" beach. Made from 99% pure quartz, the sand is a soft, flour-like texture and is cool to the touch. Island House has one of the nicest and widest beachfronts on Crescent Beach. Very little sea grass to obstruct your view. The complex offers a large heated swimming pool as well as a recreation room with pool, ping pong, air hockey. Kids love it.
There are a lot of things to do on Siesta Key and in the Sarasota area. Visit nearby Siesta Village and have a daiquiri at The Daiquiri Deck, dance at the Beach Club, dine at one of the spectacular restaurants. Walk down to the Tiki Bar and have a Rum Runner...an Island favorite.
Visit downtown Sarasota. You will experience the big city sophistication without the big city rush. Sarasota prides itself on its small town feeling, laid back mood and casual atmosphere - it's a locally known reality that you can go just about anywhere in your flip flops! There is so much to see and do in the Sarasota area - both indoors and out: Get a glimpse of history in one of the local highly regarded museums, meander your way through the lush Selby gardens, cohabitate with Florida's wildlife in our parks and waterways, get an under water view at the Mote Marine Aquarium or catch a show at one of the many performing arts venues. Oh, and girls, you must visit St. Armands circle for some great shopping.
Golf at one of the 40 golf courses located within 15 minutes on the condo. Take a day trip to Orlando to visit Mickey Mouse, Swim with the dolphins at Discover Cove, enjoy the rides at Universal or visit the premier marine park at Sea World.

Hi, My name is Lynn and I am a Michigander. I grew up in Grosse Pte and lived in Shelby Twp and New Baltimore most of my adult life. The first time I came to Siesta Key was in 1992 and I knew that this was the place I was going to retire. I found a slice of heaven. In 2003, I made Siesta Key my home. Once I touched the floury white sand and watched the sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico, there was no where else I would want to be. I never go on vacation...I live on the best vacation spot in the world. I live on the north end of Siesta Key in a residential condo that is on the water but not the beach. The condos on the beach don't allow dogs otherwise, I would definitely be living at my beach condo.
Why the Owner Chose Island House
I own a couple of vacation rentals on Siesta Key and I always used the same criteria when searching for a condo. First and foremost, the condo HAD to have a terrific view and be right on the beach. Location, Location, Location. The condo complex had to be a quality complex. I have stayed at many of the condos on Siesta Key and have owned condos in other complexes but the front apartments at Island House have the best beach views of any condo on Siesta. Not only that, the beach is wider and nicer than many of the other condo complexes. I have a pride in ownership and I only want a condo that I would love to live in. If I wouldn't want to live there then I would have a hard time renting it to others.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Magnificent sunsets, wine, peace and quiet. One of the things I like about Island House is that is not as crowded as other complexes. It has a much large beach area than other condos yet a lower density of people than other complexes. The beach in front of Island House is so much better than many of the other complexes because it has very little sea grass. I, personally, do not like my view obstructed with sea grass...and..I don't like walking through it to get to the sand. I also like to be able to walk to Captain Curts. You sure feel like you are on vacation when you can walk a couple of blocks, sit outside at the Tiki Hut, drink a rum runner and listen to music. Ahhh, that is the life. Of course, then I can stumble home.

Great condo right on the best stretch of beach on Siesta Key

My wife and I and our three kids stayed at this Island House condo and it was great. Perfect access to the a powder white beach that was very uncrowded. Even on the nicest days you could find a great spot right on the beach. The condo had enough space for all of us and more and very clean and comfortable. We ate in several nights and it was a breeze. It's also right around the corner to Siesta Village too with lots of places to eat to choose from.. I would definitely recommend it.
