Bring Your Entire Family for a Door County Getaway. Everyone will enjoy the 110 Feet of Shore and 60 Foot Dock for Sunning, Swimming and Relaxing. There is a Paddle Boat at the Beach, and Bean Bag Game and Pool Table in Garage For Your Use.
There is Lawn Furniture, including Picnic Table for your use. You can enjoy the Quiet Woods while relaxing on the Porch or the Sandy Beach. Enjoy the Beachside Fire-pit for Evening Bonfires with a drink and your loved ones while viewing the Gorgeous Sunset over the water..

This adorable house served our needs perfectly. So much charm! So CLEAN! Comfy beds with tons of pillows and scads of extra blankets. Fully equipped kitchen. Gift Basket of local treats. Coffee. Pastries. My husband, sons, and father-in-law went ice fishing and caught whitefish. I made tons of sides and had plenty of counter space and pots and pans. The views were lovely and the dining table was ample for 6 and more. We would love to come back in a warm season, too. Lots of information available in the cottage about local happenings, shopping, and dining. Games, movies, puzzles, etc available in the open living room area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed five nights for our 10th anniversary trip to Door County! The Jorns Harbor Retreat was a relaxing, spacious, well-appointed, clean (REALLY clean!), beautiful property. We enjoyed the time we spent there, as well as the convenient location to several boat launches, the wine tour we took that left from Fish Creek, and the trip to Green Bay to take in a Packers game! We caught some nice salmon in Sturgeon Bay and the canal. We also enjoyed sunsets from the point, and waking up to the sound of the waves through the open windows. We enjoyed the retreat for our romantic, adventurous getaway.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My siblings and I rented this house to stay at for the Door County Century ride. The location was great, along the century ride route, and only a few miles from the start of the ride. The views from the house on the lakefront were amazing, and the house has a great front porch to sit out on the evenings. Only wish we had time to use the firepit during our stay!Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

We absolutely loved Jorns Harbor Retreat! The owners thought of EVERYTHING when they fully stocked their kitchen with all possible items needed to cook a delicious meal. The living and kitchen space was large, so we were able to fit two families comfortably in the area. We had a great time sitting out at the campfire across the street, overlooking the bay. It was a simply wonderful (and CLEAN) house we stayed in. What a great week!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We had a great time at this house. Everything we could have wanted was provided and then some. The little extras made it especially enjoyable. Appreciated all the space to spread out and relax. Especially loved the porch to spend time reading. Having the private beach was one of the best features. The yard was so lovely. It really felt like home for the week. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will certainly come again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

The well supplied pantry, the special coffee cake upon arrival, the supplies in the laundry room, the games, books, paddle boat, beautiful front porch and the comfort and roominess of the place made it a perfect fit for our family of 13! We loved the bay, the location, the cleanliness and the proximity your home is to Sturgeon Bay and the ease of taking the back road to Egg Harbor. Such a great location! The house was built in 1974 by Harvey and Margaret Jorns,(Parents of the Current Owners) Harvey and Donna Jorns. The Property has always been enjoyed by all Siblings and Their Children. In 2004 Harvey and Donna purchased it from the Family Estate. We have always loved the Location, Waterviews, and Shore Frontage. We Feel Very Blessed and are Grateful to Share the 'Retreat' With Others.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We Use the House As Often As Possible. During the Christmas Holidays, Our Entire Family Arrives Home. We Love the Open Concept of the House and Are Able to Have a Formal Sit-Down Christmas Dinner for 21-24 people. We Enoy the Water Views from the Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Great Room and Master Bedroom. During the Winter There is Always Something (Animals) or Someone (Ice Fishermen, Snowmobilers etc) on the Bay. And in the Summer All Water Activities are Viewed by Everyone.
