Our visit to 4 Bears was everything I had imagined and more. The listing gave a good description of the property. It was clean and well maintained.The owners saw to every detail. The kitchen was well stocked. They left birdfood to feed the birds and books to identify them. They answered all of my questions and gave detailed directions as to fun, food and shopping!. We had a great time and would recommend this cabin to everyone .Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We could not have asked for a more wonderful place to spend out vacation!!! The cabin was bigger than we thought it would be and had plenty of room for all 8 of us!!!!! We will definitely stay there again:)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Yes, 12 of us! We arrived on Sunday in 3 vehicles full of tired Texans. But what a place to arrive too. In a beautiful spot in Sun Valley, just far enough from town yet close enough to play ... it was ideal. The cabin was spotless and very roomy. Everyting was there ... we just settled in. We had deer eating out of our hands, beautiful woodpeckers and blue jays ... I cannot do it justice. The view off of the back deck is so pretty ... and very relaxing. We used the grill and thoroughly enjoyed it the entire week. We went to town several times, the go kart track was great, the BBQ joint was very good too! But a special "shout out" to Cree Meadows Golf Course. Ray, the pro there, and his staff were amazing. They treated us like royalty, put my parents in a cart to follow the rest of us and were jsuy super nice. Also, their restaurant served up some awesome chicken fried steak! Bonnie, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We all enjoyed our stay and cammot wait to return. Four Bears is a wonderful place to stay!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family and i spent a weekend at this cabin and we absolutely loved it, the cabin was very clean and felt very cozy, the kitchen was well equipped with all your basics..and thensome, and the deer were wonderful. Had a wonderful time and plan to return when there is snow. I would definately recommend staying at this cabin...and although i personally did not speak to the owner.. i can assure you she is a very kind person..thank you!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I just got back from a 7 day stay at 4 Bears Cabin and we all fell in love with this place. Bonnie , this is a beautiful cabin in a wonderful setting. I was a bit skeptical about renting this cabin or any cabin in Ruidoso because I was unsure about the location and the appearance of the cabin. Upon arriving to the cabin all we could say was WOW! what a beauty. The price is reasonable and worth it. We were very pleased with the cabin and the beauty of nature it was surrounded by. We had frequent visitors (deer) every time the grill was on. We will definetly rent this cabin again and again. Thank you again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Blending 3 families (6 adults and 4 children) in a vacation home can be quiet an ordeal. We loved our vacation at 4 Bears. We had plenty of room for each family to have private time and plenty of room for "extended family" time. It was well equipped and provided a quiet, relaxing, and fun atmosphere. Close to activities and shopping. The owners were easy to work with. I would highly recommend it and we would definitely use it again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friends and I just got back from our stay at the cabin. If you are going to be skiing at ski apache, the location could not be better. It is as close to the turn off for the mountain as you could possibly be. I have stayed at another cabin and at the ramada in town in years past, and the location of this cabin saves an 20 minutes on the daily drive. The quality of the furniture and appliances were great, and the beds were awesome. Beautiful Cabin! The owners are extremely nice and easy to deal with. The check in/check out works out great. The next time I come to Ruidoso, I will definitely be staying at this cabin.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I would highly recommend this property. The owner was very helpful in helping getting everything setup. The property is very well maintained and beautiful location. Love the humming birds visiting. My lagre family group came in late July and we loved our stay here. We will definitely return for another visit. The beds were very comfortable and there was never a shortage of hot water in this very clean cabin. The cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms met my Mom's very high standards. My grandchildren and niece enjoyed hiking and seeing the wild life and my parents enjoyed the western show we went to see at the Flying J ranch. My grandchildren(ages 3 & 7) and niece(age 13) were able to shoot guns and ride a horse before the show and dinner.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
