My wedding

My kids came with their kids for my wedding we had a great time! Thank you so much we would rent this place again. It does need the numbers for the house more visible and could use some kind of fan cuz it gets hot in the house!!

Beautiful SC Home!!!

Beautiful SC Home just minutes from the UCSC campus. Bedrooms for everyone and a gorgeous kitchen. Outdoor patio with beautiful gardens. We highly recommend this property!

Nice and cozy.

Loved the property, only 2 things need improvement. 1-The bedroom with the biggest bed has lots of spiders in it. 2-Wish we were able to be allowed to check out around 12pm. Other than that, we would stay there again.

Not a happy camper

It is now October and we stayed there in July I was just informed that my deposit minus PayPal fees of over $90 would be returned. We had difficulty getting things fixed. We had ants in the kitchen And a toilet that broke and one of my guests had to convince repair guy to fix the toilet that day. I am very unhappy and will never come back to this house again.

Perfect Getaway

Our stay in this Santa Cruz house was incredible. There were 8 of us, visiting as a college reunion. The location is great - it is quaint, but close to Mission Blvd, and walkable to downtown Santa Cruz. We ended up having breakfast at Cafe Brasil twice, which is a short walk (highly recommended!). Besides the close attractions, we found ourselves spending quite a bit of time in the house - what a great space! We had dinner in the dining room one night, easily fitting the 8 of us. We had breakfast out on the patio one morning, and a campfire out back. The only issue with 8 people as opposed to 6 is that the pull-out bed wasn't super comfortable, so 6 of us were well rested, and two weren't. If you have 6 people, you'll have no problem, and if you have 8, I say it's worth it anyway! The washer had just been fixed for us before we arrived - Mara was a great host and very on top of the needs of the house and her guests.

Why they chose this property

Santa Cruz is a beautiful place to live. We have the Redwood forest behind us and the beautiful Monterey Bay in front of us. We are surrounded by amazing parks with endless activities golf, out rigger paddling, biking, surfing, hiking, kayaking etc… My husband and I bought this home as our sanctuary and a place to raise our family.

What makes this property unique

It is a peaceful home. The gardens are beautiful especially in the Spring, Summer and Fall. We have apples and places in bloom in the summer. It is set up for comfortable gatherings on the back deck grilling and enjoying the garden.
