Villa Karaway (VK) is the ultimate Puerto Vallarta Beach Villa! A rare find on the powdery sands of Puerto Vallarta. The home is RIGHT on the beach. Please read the entire description, but first some ideas to save money and select the proper home.
When shopping for a home for your hard earned vacation in PV, make sure the ask the following:
1. Is the home right on the beach, or do you have to walk to the beach?
2. Is there SAND on the beach? Except for downtown and north of town, sandy beaches are rare. We have sand on our beach!
3. Are there any additional charges? VK rates are all inclusive, you just pay for the food and drinks that our chief prepares, along with tips.
4. Exactly where are you located in PV? No hype from us. You are 6 km south of town (about 12 minutes away), so you have the town amenities, without the hustle an bustle. We are right on the bus route (50 cents to town), or cabs are usually parked by the complex ($6 into town).
With over 4000 square feet of pure luxury, this four bedroom, five bath vacation rental is ideal for corporate meetings, family reunions, or just an intimate get-away. Many rooms have 12-foot high ceilings - just right for bringing in the incredible views of the Bay and Mountain Ranges around Puerto Vallarta.

Make no mistake - this villa is right on the beach. The beach is beautiful with a protective rock reef creating a wonderful family swimming area and an incredible sandy beach. Let the professional staff of a full-time maid and gourmet cook pamper you. It is your vacation - so enjoy it!
You enter your two-story vacation home (named 'Villa Karaway') from a private iron gate into a masterfully constructed tiled hallway. To the right, past the sitting area, is the lower bedroom with two single beds, which can be make into a king bed (all bedrooms have air conditioning), a walk-in closet, and private bath. Close by is the washer and dryer. To the left of the hallway is the open-air patio with splendid plants.
Up five tile-covered steps is another hallway. Turn left and you enter the gourmet kitchen (Viking stove, Sub-Zero refrigerator - but why care - you have your own chef!), bar, walk-in pantry, table for four, and bathroom. Proceeding past the kitchen is the dining room with seating for eight. Past the dining room is the living room with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding walls to another outdoor patio with lighted palms, the downstairs porch, and the private infinity pool. Just past your pool is the wondrous Los Palmares Beach.
Proceed the other way down the entrance-way hallway and you arrive at bedroom two. This is a bedroom with one queen and one king bed, a large walk-in closet, and an even larger bathroom. There is a large window that opens to the interior patio.
Up the stairs further is bedroom three with two double beds, 12-foot high ceiling, a large window opening to the interior patio, TV and VCR, and private bath.
Further down the hallway is the ultimate, master bedroom with a king-size bed. Floor-to-ceiling movable windows separate the bedroom to the upstairs patio. There is also a large window providing a view to the famous Los Arcos islands just off the shore of Puerto Vallarta. The master also contains a sitting area, large walk-in closet, and a bath that is also a jetted tub, steam, and a ten-side spigot shower. For those that are traditional, a normal showerhead is available. A telescope is provided to further enjoy the breathtaking views. These views include dolphins and whales playing in one of the largest bays on the continent.
You will NOT be DISAPPOINTED with Karaway or the Los Palmares facilities! Villa Karaway is part of the classy Los Palmares condominium complex. It was recently completed in late 1999. Everything is in tip top condition, including the large infinity pool, jacuzzi, kid's pool, and exercise room. There is also ample parking and 24-hour security. It is located just under six kilometers to the south of downtown Puerto Vallarta and is on the city bus route for easy transportation.
We have wireless high speed internet connection. So bring your laptop or use the computer provided at the Villa. We also have a phone for free, unlimited phone calls back to the US and Canada.

Wayne, I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to write. Wanted to publicly thank you and your staff for making my 50th birthday in August 2006, the best vacation and birthday I have ever had. From the transportation to and from the airport; lunch waiting for us upon our arrival; beautiful flowers delivered; to assisting my daughter with dinner reservations at Vista Grill (my favorite) and the wonderful coconut birthday cake; to arranging for spa services at the villa; for keeping the house spotless; the incredible meals and margaritas by Elba, I thank you! Perfect setting: This villa tucked at the end of a condominium highrise felt isolated but with all the amenities and safety features one could possibly need. We felt as though we had our own private beach and no neighbors because of the way this multi-level villa is expertly situated right on the beach. Delicious food and service: Our meals, prepared twice a day, were both delicious and healthy. It was a real treat to have someone take care of us and we didn't even have to leave the house. The maid kept things sparkling...just like the azure sea out our door. Safety: This place felt very safe....gates and attendents at all entrances/exits. I also saw security walking the beach at night. Comfort and design: The villa is beautifully decorated and designed. All bedrooms are extremely private. The open courtyard in the middle of villa feels so "Old Mexico" with the beautiful tiles and fountain. Location: Villa Karaway is located a short taxi ride from old town Puerto Vallarta. There are taxis always waiting right down the street. Or you can take the local bus for less than a $1 (I think it was 70 pesos). We felt perfectly safe doing this. The beach was fabulous and the water was like bathwater. There are boogie boards and a kayak available at the villa. This is a wonderful place to go relax and drink in the scenery....and even play a little if you are so inclined.Owner response: Margaret, thank you for this review. We pride ourselves in having Villa Karaway under promising and over delivering! A small correction - the bus ride into town is 7 pesos (about 60 cents) and not 70 pesos. Can back soon! Wayne Harding

This year was the 2nd trip I have taken to Puerta Vallarta and it was even better than the first. My friends and I enjoyed the beautiful villa with the food and the blissful scenery to say the least! We can't wait for our trip next year! I cannot even describe how much fun we had and how beautiful your place is...The picture you have on your site cant begin to even describe that place in person. The villa is above and beyond what I could have possibly imagined that villa to be...honestly the pictures do it no justice once you see it in person. Elba cooked amazing and our group has said over and over we cant wait to go back and have spoken about when many of us could make it back. That was the best place I have ever stayed in my life! I have never been on vacation and not wanted to leave the area we were staying in and we didn’t want to even go shop, afraid to miss out on one second of being around that condo and everything it has to offer right there on the beach! We got married right on the beach November 7, 2009 and I can not imagine it anywhere else. This was my first visit to PV and I will go back as fast as I possibly can. We had 11 people stay in the villa total and we had so much room! I felt famous living there for a week!! Many of us have said it was the best vacation we have ever had! That place is indescribable! The pool of our own and a bigger one down the way and then a beach feet from you, you couldn’t ask for anything better. We had a blast and I have so many photos and memories to cherish! We usually go to Maui every year, and I never thought I could like anything as much and now I have another love!!!!!!!! We stayed 6 days and that needs to be longer for sure now that we know whats there! Also Enrique is the has the best customer service and has been nothing but help since minute one. He is so kind and anything you need he figures it out and gets you the info you need, AMAZING! Thank you , I am so glad I booked with you, it could not have been better! My wifde and I took our 3 kids along with their spouses and our 3 grandkids. It is a very impressive villa and the owners description says it all. We loved the private beach, that we had all to ourselves. My husband and I have taken our children and grand children to the Villa 3 years in a row now. Each time was just filled with great memories! The Staff are very friendly and VERY helpful. Elba the cook is just the best, she will prepare anything for you and you can trust that it will be fantastic. The maid is there every day (except Sundays of course) so you don't even have to make your bed! We thank you Wayne and Karen for sharing your most fabulous home and staff with us.Puerto Vallarta is our favorite place to go in Mexico. It's a small city with a big heart! Dear Mr. Harding, We can not thank you enough for generously allowing us to share your gorgeous home. You allowed us the opportunity of a life time and the fact that we could share this experience with our children made it all the more of a blessing. The beach was not only beautifully breathtaking but the fact that it was semi private ( at least that was how it seemed) made the vacation so much more relaxing. Gloria was so diligent about making sure the home was clean and fresh and Elba's cooking was extraordinary comparable to any gourmet restaurant. Thank you for making this trip possible for us. We really needed some pampering after a pretty tough year and Villa Karaway gave us just that. Thank you again. IT was the best place we ever stayed. I would love to go again. Since we work hard, when we get away we want to spoiled and pampered. We purchased each of our properties with this in mind. A great place to relax, unwind and enjoy - in style!
