My sweet French house sits in a quiet French hamlet alongside a small château. Ten years ago I fell in love with this traditional old farm house and scraped together my pennies.. I bought it from Madame Ferrieres who was born in the house and left me many of her beautiful old furniture pieces and some great recipes. Subsequent renovations have kept the original feel while adding modern conveniences.
The house has an open plan layout that make it great for one couple or a family of up to 5, but probably not two couples. There is lots to do in the neighborhood and you can also stay on the terrace or up in the garden reading and relaxing .
Places to Visit - There are wonderful local markets, brocantes for affordable antiques, and every local town is a bastide. Visit Conques, Albi, Najac, Cahors and many more - there is a local pool 5 kms away and a lake 10 km
