Enjoy all the beauty Keuka and the region has to offer in our lovely century home. The house has a rich, wonderful history and is furnished with period antiques and folk art. Couples will race to the top of the stairs for "dibs" on either the Victorian walnut bed with a 6' headboard, or the antique bronze and brass room.
Being from Ohio, we vacationed in the Finger Lakes for years and carefully chose this property overlooking the bluff on Keuka as we feel it is the most magical spot in the region. Located on the East side of the lake, the house is a 3-minute walk down to the lake-front and dock, equipped with a patio area, fire pit and boat mooring. Enjoy swimming, fishing, and all the lake has to offer including the marvelous sunsets.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities, and please feel free to clip some fresh roses or herbs from the herb garden for your dining experience. Whether it is a dinner around the antique mahogany dining table, or eating outside on the deck or enclosed sun porch, your friends and family are certain to make many wonderful memories.
Alternatively, the Switzerland Inn is walking distance and features a full bar and lunch and dinner menu during season. Mention "The Switz" to any local and watch the smile spread across their face.
Be sure to walk next door to the award-winning Ravines Winery and say "hello" to our friends. The Reisling is not to be missed, and the view of the bluff is breathtaking.
You won't want to miss exploring Amish markets and shops just around the corner, not to mention the fresh produce and farm-raised meats for your grilling experience. One of our favorite things to do is pick-up a wonderful roast and vegetables, throw it in the crock pot, set out to explore for the day, and return to a comfortable, homey meal.
The house is over 1700 square feet and located on over 1 acre of land, so there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house sleeps 7 (1 pull-out sofa in the den), and 1 1/2 baths. Our home is cozy enough for a romantic get-away and homey enough for a family vacation.
We own, show, and rescue dogs, so well-behaved pets are invited to join the fun with their families.
