Whether you travel through the beautiful Napa Valley, following the winding forest roads past Konocti, or through the scenic rolling countryside from either Hwy.101 or Hwy.5 you arrive at this beautiful setting, only 4 miles from Clearlake, which will provide for your comfort during your vacation stay. Clearlake is the largest natural lake in California and offers an array of activities year round.
This beautiful new log style home is situated on 3 acres of serene open space. The view of the gorgeous Mt Konocti from the great room is as spiritually stirring as it was when the Native Americans lived on this land so many years before.
Because of this, this home is often used by the owner as a spiritual retreat center for meditation, yoga and personal growth classes. You are welcome to use the meditation pads and yoga mats provided.
As you enter the foyer you will instantly sense the serenity and peace that this house holds with high open ceilings covered in knotty pine. Because of this, this is a no smoking home and no pets are allowed. Ensuring the preservation of the clean and positive energy of this house is a must.
There will be a bedroom on your left complete with dresser and full sized bed. On your right will be a bedroom with dressers and two twin beds. The master bed and bath, with their open ceilings, holds a queen sized bed and dresser and offers a gorgeous view of the neighboring vineyard through the wall of “mountain cabin” windows. Both the master bath and guest bath contain Jacuzzi tubs and showers. All towels and linens are provided.
There are 4 futon beds and 2 foam beds stored in the lofts of the bedrooms, and a queen sized airbed to sleep up to an additional 8 people. These may be used in any of the rooms including the great room.
The great room is fully furnished and includes television, DVD, stereo and an array of board games.
There is a full kitchen complete with all the necessities including gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen opens to the dining area with dining table and chairs. There is an additional 8 person folding table to accommodate the larger family. This room also looks out on the view of the surrounding hills and mountains.
The grounds are open so as to compliment the view of the surrounding area. A pathway leads to the year round creek that backs the property.
Maps of the area as well as visitor's information listing local activities and events will be in the home for your use.

Exceptionally clean, serene, with a beautifully large deck. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Look no further for a place to stay if you are visiting the area. This is it. I had the pleasure of staying in this retreat home with a group of friends, it had everything we needed to be comfortable, even meditation cushions and yoga mats. We found the place sparkling clean, everything was easy to find and use. I will highly recommend this to any friends or family who come to visit. Especially if you have 6-10 people in your group, just the right size. I contacted Joanie who was so kind and helpful. We absolutely loved this place! Upon arrival we found refreshments waiting for us along with maps and a list of events happening in the area. The owner had made reservations for a tour of the Napa valley in a Helicopter, per our request, and we enjoyed the local 4th of July festivites. There was so much to do that we've decided to come back in a month and continue the fun. The house is beautiful and serene, the view spectaular and the amentiities were perfect. We absolutely loved this place! So serene and peaceful. We felt as if we had been transported to a mountain retreat in another world. The house was very clean and gave the feeling of relaxation as soon as we entered the door. If you are looking for a place to simply relax in quiet solitude, this is the place! I just returned from my stay at this gorgeous home. My wife and I decided to try out the area and came upon this ad. We are so happy we did! What a peaceful spiritual home. We immediately felt ourselves relax as we stepped into the home with high ceilinged rooms filled with natural light. We enjoyed the creek and walking trails in the area and found this was the perfect place to relax. The nearby wineries were a pleasant distraction as well. The surrounding area is beautiful. What a beautiful and peaceful setting for a lovely clean home! I stayed two nights and three days here with four friends. We so enjoyed the beautiful mountain view and found so much to do.When we arrived we found refreshments waiting for us and a list of activity suggestions and maps. Being near beautiful Clearlake and having the mountains nearby is wonderful! The are mountain hiking trails, bike riding, fishing, boating, waterskiing and so much more. The small town atmosphere of the nearby towns is uniquely quaint and the people are down to earth and friendly. There are also many wineries in the area offering tastings and tours and exciting Helicopter tours as well.
