  13 Family members (age 21-56) convened for picture-perfect weather, one of the world's finest beaches, and an ideally located beach house which was clean, comfortable, and an excellent value. We considered ourselves fortunate to rent a home this close to the beach; and were delighted that the beach was sparsely populated compared to neighboring developments. The kitchen was well-appointed for a family of foodies. We even baked cookies one evening. Michele Baloh is a superb attentive landlord- we had only one real hiccup- the A/C was not cooling when we returned from the beach one evening. What may have been a disaster, turned out to be a minimal nusiance, as Michele had a repair man there within the hour and we had cold air again in 10 minutes! We highly recommend not only this property, but also the specific location, and most certainly the concern and follow through of the owner. I would not hesitate to return to this home again and again.

  From the very start the owner was very helpful with any enquiry and quick to repond. We only had a couple of minor issues, but they were immediately addressed and fixed by the maintenance crew. The absolute best part of this rental was how it was only a 2 minute or less walk to the beach. It is on the cul-de-sac at the end of the complex and closest to the beach so if you forgot something, you could quickly run back and get it. We drove in from Houston and if the weather had been nice all week, we probably wouldn't have moved the car once we got there. You could walk to Winn Dixie or the Silver Sands Outlet mall, as well. We met another family who came from North Carolina and this was the perfect size house for 4 adults and 4 kids, 8 & under. We didn't even use one queen room. There were plenty of beach toys and beach chairs as well, so no need to bring any. The pool was also heated which was a plus. We had an awesome time and would recommend it to anyone.

  We had a group of 14 ranging in age from 2 to 82 stay for a week. Everything we needed was there. We especially liked the location, close to the beach path and the pool. The grocery store was very close which was convenient as we cooked many of our meals. Even with college spring breakers the home was quiet at night. We really appreciated the sand toys and beach chairs in the storage room!

  This house was the perfect place for our family to stay. The pictures from the website did not do this place justice. We were expecting a nice place but got a fantastic place. The owners provide beach toys and chairs which was a major plus for us. There was plenty of room!!! Another major plus was the washer and dryer. Traveling from Texas, we were short on car space so the washer and dryer made it easy for us to pack light. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils, pots and pans you would need to cook. The location is perfect. The grocery store and drug store are within 5 minutes of the house. During our stay, there was one day in which it was raining. The outlet mall is right across the street which gave us something to do. This is a wonderful place to stay and we look forward to renting this house for our future visits to Destin.

  Working with the owners was a wonderful experience. Everything was extremely professional. The "Hotel" was in great condition and very clean. The photos are up to date and a good representation of the property. We have stayed in Gulfside Cottages for 7 years; this was the first time in this property. All of the properties were good; this one was the best we have stayed in. We highly recommend the property and the owners.

  I'm almost afraid to say how WONDERFUL our experience was at A PARADISE HOTEL. The fear is we won't be able to get the time we want for next year! Everything was just as advertise - Michael's home is a clean as can be and my group of five adults and three kids (6-5-5) were totally happy with our rental. So close to the beach that we let the little ones start out in front of us as there were no streets to cross. There are TV's in every room so the kids were happy no matter where we put them! Beach toys in the outside storage was also a big treat for my grandkids. A clean beach - great water - a very large grocery store walking distance away - and sorry to say also a very large OUTLET DISCOUNT COMPLEX just across the highway from the home, (all too close for my wallet!! ) Yes we are talking about going back next year (( Maybe the Outlet Stores will go away by then?? ))

  Our family had a great time on the 4th of July week. The house was really cute. The kitchen had all the necessities for cleaning, cooking and more! The beach was great not to many people even on the 4th of July. Michelle was great. Very helpful! We loved our stay and would recommend this property to anyone. Thanks Michelle!

  We rented the property with our 2childersn and 3 grandchildren and could not have been happier. The location is wonderful, the eating area had a nice large table where we could all gather. Each room had a tv and ceiling fan, which made it very comfortable, There was also a washer and dryer. The proximity to the water was great.

  This house was perfect for our family. We had a large group and it provided the perfect place for us to vacation. It is SOOO close to the beach and it had all the extras like a well stocked kitchen, shower outside to clean the sand off, grill, washer and dryer, and WiFi. We all had our own rooms and they were comfortable and clean upon our arrival. The house is also located at the end of a cul de sac and it was very quiet and safe as we let the kids out to play and did not have to worry about alot of vehicle traffic. It is also very conveniently located near the pool and we used that a great deal with the kids!

  We had a wonderful week in Destin! The house was perfect for our family (7 adults, 3 children). It was very clean (important when you have little ones on the floor), roomy, and well equipped. It's a very short walk to the beautiful beach and the community pool. The house is on a cul de sac in a quiet community which is great when you travel with children. We took riding toys and the children were able to ride in the street with supervision. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and we enjoyed eating some meals there. The house is located very centrally to restaurants and shopping. We ate out every night at the wonderful seafood restaurants that are close by. We also enjoyed shopping at the outlet mall and going to a movie and shopping at Destin Commons. There is a grocery store very close by, so we were able to buy what we needed and not have to bring too much from home. The owners are very friendly and easy to work with, and I would highly recommend their house to anyone wanting a quiet, convenient visit to the beautiful beaches of Destin.
