The unit itself is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay....fully equipped kitchen...comfortable beds and hanging out area with lots of sunshine. It is centrally located in Northstar Village which includes shopping, food and spa services. Also conveniently located to downtown Truckee. We had a wonderful stay and I would go back time and time again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This is the perfect condo for a Northstar vacation. We loved the ski in-ski out- it was literally possible to end the day just yards from the front door. So perfect to come back for a mid-day ski break. Everything was spotless and the view is so peaceful. It felt very private as well. We loved the kitchen and appreciated the availability of everything we needed to cook a family meal- along with matched sets of dishes and glasses-great!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed over President's day weekend and were so happy with the location. We didn't use our car once, and it was a very short walk to the village and property owner's hot tubs. The unit is very updated, has flat screen TVs and well equipped kitchen. With two kids, it would have been nice to have a bath tub and an extra half bath. Also, you have to go down a flight of steps to get to the condo and back up another flight, so it took a while with our youngest child. But, location, location, location.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The place is exactly as described. It fits 6 adults comfortably and afforded each couple with lots of privacy. The one bathroom wasn't much of an issue. The condo was within walking distance to The Village. We love the layout of the condo and all it's amenities. The owners were very professional and gracious.Recommended for: Sightseeing

This condo is stunning! It has recently been remodeled and there are many designer details. We have stayed in over dozen different Ski Trail condos over the years and this is by far my favorite. The bedrooms and loft sleep 6, in 5 individual beds. There is a TV in each room and the kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped. Bath and bedding are new and clean. Our family recently moved from the east coast and were looking for base to explore all that Tahoe has to offer in the summer. This condo was perfect for our family (with two young kids, age 6 and 3). The owners were very responsive; the condo was spotless and beautifully appointed, and contained lots of nice touches for kids like board games, books, and video games. The pictures do not do it justice, and the pool and facilities at the homeowners association are fantastic. Thanks for a great stay, and we hope to be back again soon!Recommended for: Families with young children

This is our second summer stay at this condo and we find it works well with children. The owners are very responsive to inquiries, the description of the condo is accurate and we enjoyed all the features the resort has to offer. I think the price is one of the best I've seen listed for what you get.Recommended for: Families with young children

We stayed in the condo for three nights. It is even better than the photos. Everything was immaculate. It is a very secluded place which gives you the feeling of being in a cabin in the trees, yet it is very comfortable. It is very close ( a 2- minute walk) to the Northstar resort, which we really did not use. It is a short drive to Kings Beach and the lake. We will definitly rent it agin.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was better than the pictures. Everything was perfect for our ski trip. Short walk to the ski trails Very convenient. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner. We had an amazing time at Northstar. The condo was fantastic. Our 3 kids loved having so much space. There were plenty of beds. The kitchen was very clean and had clearly been updated recently. Everything was very modern. We enjoyed the comfortable furniture and especially loved turning on the gas fireplace after a full day of skiing. The location was very convenient to the village. We also took advantage of the rec center multiple times. We worked out at the fitness center and our kids loved the hot tubs and game room. The owner of the condo was very accommodating with regard to late checkout. She also provided us with helpful advice about finding a local grocery store. This is a very nice and comfortable condo. It's just a short walk from the Village, thus very convenient and we had more time to spend on the slopes instead of dealing with the crowd. The condo is clean, well-equipped and nicely furnished. Our kids definitely made good use of the loft area with the bunk bed, watching DVDs and playing games, while the adults can relax in the living room. It was perfect for our long weekend stay. And the owner is very nice.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was perfect for our summer visit to Northstar. It was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed- like a home away from home. It was wonderful to be able to walk to the Village- our boys loved the independence of walking everywhere. What a great time we had at this modern, well located unit. It was fun to be able to walk into the Northstar Village and leave the car behind. The swim club was wonderful for the whole family and really made the vacation. The unit was nicely decorated and comfortable. Our children loved having their own T.V. and game system upstairs. Everything was clean and updated. We will return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Location was just perfect for us, what a great Condo. Very Quite and restful stay for us. We took a hike to Sawmill Lake up the mountain (2+hrs) and walked down the hill to the village in 3-5 minutes. Great location and the unit had all the necessities!!
