From our Townhouse you have glorious views of the Low country marsh and beyond to the Wando River viewed from our corner Town Home located steps away from the neighborhood pool and pavilion, where the pool is heated in the spring and fall and cooled in the summer. Our three-story floor plan includes an ideal master suite with soaring ceilings encompassing the third floor, allowing for ample privacy and relaxation. A bike and walking path outside the back door leads to Town Center and the Tennis Center with scenic views as you travel across the marsh, through wooded areas and along the River.
With 2700+ square feet of space, you will find sleeping for 8, a large circular style kitchen overlooking the family room, a separate laundry room on the first floor, maybe best of all, you can enjoy island breezes and views of the Wando River and Marsh from the private balcony off the Master Bedroom, rear screened porch or the covered patio.
The City of Charleston is a jewel to visit and explore, combining a fascinating heritage with contemporary appeal. Some of the must see sites in the downtown area: Market Street, Battery Park, Rainbow Row, King Street, and the Aquarium. Daniel Island enjoys a central location with close proximity to an extraordinary range of things to see and do. Historic plantations and architecture, world-class shopping and dining, Atlantic beaches, Downtown Charleston and more are all within a 15-minute drive. And a temperate climate makes the Charleston area attractive for year-round outdoor activity.

Very nice large home, with bikes for touring the island. Unique place to vacation and quiet so you can get away if you want, but close enough to everything else for a night out.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

My friends and I stayed in this home for a weekend getaway in August. The home is gorgeous and nicely decorated. It didn't have the typical rental feel, but was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The screened in porch was an added bonus and the fans made it quite comfortable to sit outside, even during the day. The location was great for seeing a concert at the nearby Family Circle Center and the town itself is charming. Leisure trails throughout make riding bikes or jogging a great activity. The only problem was that I am HIGHLY allergic to cats and had a bit of an allergy attack after sitting on the couch one morning with my coffee. I slept wonderfully on the very comfortable bed and found that the only "problem" area was the upholstered furniture in the main living room. Though there was no visible pet hair anywhere in the house, I did discover a sealed bag of kitty litter that clued me into what was happening. The majority of the time I did not even have to take allergy medicine and once I stayed away from the couch there were no more issues. The master bedroom is huge with a great closet and an enormous soaking tub in the bathroom. There are his & hers sinks and a separate shower in the master as well. The other 2 bedrooms are on the 1st level and share a bath. All bedrooms had amazingly comfortable memory foam beds and pillows. We slept like babies! The kitchen is on the middle floor and is well-appointed with plenty of prep room and a fantastic coffee maker. We cooked huge breakfasts, and with 6 of us in the kitchen, had lots of space. The book collection is perfect for a southern home with Pat Conroy and Dorthea Benton-Frank novels that make great beach reads. We didn't find a guide to the house with the pool location or internet password, but I'm sure the owner will provide this if you ask. I found it super easy to make arrangements and received quick communication each time I had a question. Had the weather cooperated, we would have gone to Isle of Palms beaches, but due to rain went to downtown Charleston, saw a movie, and did a little shopping at the Towne Centre Shopping Center right before the IOP Connector. The location is great for many different activities, but is far enough from the hustle and bustle that you can relax and have peace and quiet. Being so close to the Family Circle stadium, you might hear concert noise, but you'll probably want to see the show anyway and it is a great venue. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Charleston:
This Townhouse will eventually be our retirement home in a few years. We furnished this home to be enjoyed and admired.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Out of habit, the majority of travelers still think "hotel" when visiting a new city, even though there are so many other options available to them. Admittedly, there are advantages to any particular choice in lodging, but once you have visited Daniel Island and stay in our Townhouse, you will want to return.
