This is a beautiful house on ample grounds set on a man-made lake. We had a week-long multi-generation family reunion there (ages 4 to 89) and it worked really well for us. From the huge dining table to the split-level design with an additional separate guest room, it accommodated three generations perfectly. Youngsters fished and played games on the lawns, older siblings played billiards downstairs in the lounge, and elders enjoyed relaxing and using WiFi in the upstairs sitting rooms and admiring the mountain and lake views from the gorgeous back deck. We enjoy family dinners at home, and the state of the art, large kitchen was great. One of us uses a wheelchair-- the main level of the house is fully accessible thru the garage entry, as is the master bedroom. The master shower is adapted for wheelchair access and worked well. We sought a large air-conditioned property, kid friendly, wheel chair accessible, and with high speed internet access (WiFi)-- this certainly met our needs. We'd definitely return. Note: Families with very young toddlers just learning to walk (between ages 1 and 3) would need to watch them closely on the 2 interior main staircases.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

We loved this rental and it was absolutely perfect for a fabulous wedding weekend! Tom was great to work with...We had everything we needed. My only complaint would be the lack of window shades...but that's pretty minor in the swing of things. We couldn't have asked for more!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Only one word can describe this location... Magnificent! My family and I had an incredible time in this spectacular castle. We couldn't have chosen a better place or time of year to relax and enjoy one another. The house was clean and accomodating and let me say we enjoyed every square foot of it and the beautiful grounds surrounding it. The pictures on the listing (although very beautiful) do not do it justice. Anyone who chooses this location will not be disappointed. My family and I recommend you experience it for yourselves. We were hoping to see some snow and boy did we ever. I think we got some 12 to 15 inches of the white stuff. It was amazing to witness the beauty of the falling snow from the huge viewing windows while we enjoyed the fireplaces and abundent delicious food. We went snowboarding at Snowbowl, tried our luck fishing on the icey lake located in the backyard in near blizzard conditions (lol) and the best part of all, got to runite and spend quality time with my wonderful family. We are all very fortunate to have had that special time together. We will cherish the memories forever. I would also like to Thank Tom and his family for making it possible. Tom even came out into the cold with his son to plow the driveway for us. I hope we are able to do it again in the future. Where to start... This home is absolutely beautiful and the pictures on the site do not even do it justice. My family rented this home for the holidays this year and we had a great time. There were so many things to do inside and outside of this home. We took advantage of the free club passes as well at the local gym. Tom was so incredible to work with too, which always makes doing business that much more pleasurable! Thank you for allowing my family to remember this holiday season for years to come, it will not be forgotten!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

A group of us from Luke AFB decided to rent a place together for Thanksgiving since we couldn't be with or families. When we came across this place we were overjoyed! I do have to say...the pictures do not do this place justice! It was 100 times better than the pictures showed! We were speechless when we actually saw the house. There were five couples and three kids and there was enough room for us all! It was perfect because there was so much room that everyone was able to have their own space and we never felt cramped or crowded. We cooked a huge dinner and the kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could imagine. We loved the wood burning fireplaces and just the spacious layout! I think we went through all tons of firewood...which they also provided! They provided everything under the sun here. You can honestly just bring your clothes and yourself...everything else is there. My husband leaves for Korea in a few months and will be gone for over a year. This was the perfect way to spend this Thanksgiving together. There was snow, the lake was beautiful, the mountain view was amazing, and all of us coming together as family was perfect. This will be a trip long remembered.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I rented this property for my wedding in the middle of October 2010. The wedding itself was beautiful but the comments and compliments we recieved on the house confirmed that this was a great decision. The house itself is incredible. The scenery with the lake in the background made for some incredible pictures. The house screams high class and no expense was spared in the building of this castle!! I would recommend this property to anyone and I myself plan on returning for a long ski weekend or any future parties that I may have. With 5 bedrooms it is ideal for a group who just wants to have a great time at a great rate!! The owners of this property keep it very clean and were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process! Again, I would recommend this to anyone!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, girls getaway.
