We stayed with our two boys, ages 10 and 12. The owner was helpful, courteous and attentive. The location provides easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants in Dillon and quick access to the ski area highways. We didn't have time to check out the onsite hot tub, instead we took our boys to the deluxe new Silverthorne Rec Center with four pools, hot tubs, water slides, etc.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Looking for a Summit County escape? You will find a great value and experience working with the owners of this property! We have stayed several years with them and will continue to do so. This property is on the top floor overlooking the Dillon Reservoir with great views any time of the day. Good Instead of a wintersports and skiing theme for decor, this unit leans toward the summer and boating theme, which is appropriate as it's right around the corner from the marina. Reservation experience is easy and owners are readily accessible throughout the stay if needed. Checkout was easy with a simple phone call. Kitchen is fully equipped for your stay if you feel so incline to stay in and cook. Grocery stores are just blocks away. Hot tub and pool are just down the hall, and pool towels are provided.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Beautiful location, with wonderful lake view. Convenient to all things Dillon. Very nice outdoor pool and hot tube. Condo was adequate for our needs, but furnishings all dated.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

The condo was as described in the photos. The view and location fabulous. We cooked in with 6 of us and felt the kitchen lacked some things: Blender, more spatulas, plates, pans. The owner needs to look at the kitchen with a critical eye for those who really want to prepare a meal for 8-10 people. Great place and we would stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This was our first experience with VBRO. The pictures are accurate. This condo has excellent views of the lake and an easy walk to the marina, playground, farmers market, and Arapahoe Cafe. We had a few problems; the owner did answer calls promptly. The biggest problem was the hot water. There wasn't enough to take 1 person to take a short shower before it ran out. This was not corrected throughout our stay. Other minor things were the water came out brown when we first arrived, couldn't get into the game room (couldn’t get the key to work), no wood for the fireplace. I got tired of calling the owner with problems. The condo was clean, but needs an update. It looked like it was all original appliances and furnishings. I suspect that the water heater was original too. The beds were comfortable. We didn't cook any dinners, too many good restaurants in the area. Overall, we had a nice stay but would try something else next time. The view was the best feature of the condo. For activities in the area, I would recommend a Vail Pass Bike ride. You can rent bikes in Frisco and they will shuttle you to the top of Vail Pass. Then it is an all downhill ride through Copper Mountain. You can stop back in Frisco or continue to Dillon and take the water shuttle across the lake. Don't miss the Farmers Market in Dillon. It is Fridays in the summer. One other activity I would highly recommend is Platte Ranch in Fairplay, CO. Best horseback ride I have ever been on. It is located about 30 minutes south of Breckenridge. Well worth the drive. This time we ate at Arapahoe Café, Dillon Brewery, and Empire Burger in Breck. You can’t go wrong with these choices and don’t forget the Crepe Cart in Breck for a snack or dessert.Owner response: Thanks to our tenant, Terry, to post his review......He is correct, the hot water heater was apparently on the blink and, after his stay, we have fixed the unit-he was comfortable with us not interupting his stay by an invasive replacement. And yes, as the building does not have individual unit water shutoffs, the water was discolored for a minute after it ran- a neighboring unit had done some plumbing remodeling the week before. His comments concerning things to do in Summit County are also good for us owners to know......

Lived up to the photos. View of the lake is stunning. Beds comfortable. Met our needs of 2 adults, 3 teenagers. 3rd floor was quiet. Full sized kitchen was nice. Cooked all our meals here. Close to shopping and the slopes. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Answered our phone call when hot water ran out- small tank so take showers @ different times of the day. Hot tub was awesome after long day at the slopes. Kids loved the game room, sauna. Laundry room was big -take quarters for the machines. First time to use VRBO. Will do so again. Great experience. Owner called us prior to reservations to answer all questions we had. 2 full baths were nice! Felt very safe here. Would highly recommend this property and would return again in the future. Great location for skiing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are so glad, as owners, to have a "first timer VRBO" client to so enjoy themselves!

I am a cadet at the United States Air Force academy and often rent condos for weekend ski trips, however this condo has been my favorite. I and several friends rented this condo for a weekend of skiing. We had a great time. The condo has a great location very close to several ski resorts and the view is amazing. We were there in the winter but I would love to go in the summer time I am sure it is beautiful. The owners were the nicest and most helpful I have ever done business with. They met us while we were unloading and showed us around the complex, and were extremely helpful when a member of our party got hurt skiing. I would recommend this condo to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Logan and his friends managed to have as much fun as possible in their three days at our condo-they fiiled up the beds, they enjoyed the hot tub every day, fired up the BBQ and fireplace and managed the short drive to the ski areas......I'm proud of them!

I have stayed intermittently at the Coeur Du Lac for the past two years with my wife, child and friends. This apartment is fantastic! From when you first walk in and see the view of the lake, you know this place is unique. The amenities are great, from the new pool to the large hottub, it can't be beat for both apre ski and apre hiking! We can't wait to get back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

About the owner: Vicki and I are long time fans of the 'Outdoor Lifestyle' and Dillon, although we travel to other wondrous locales regularly, remains our home-we simply cannot replicate the enormous adventures just outside our door anywhere else....
Why the Owner Chose Coeur Du Lac:
We've always wanted, and known, that a view property here in Dillon would work wondrously for ourselves and rental possibilities. This top floor unit affords commanding, and we mean it, sweeping views of the Ten Mile Range, Lake Dillon and the Keystone and Breckenridge ski areas. And don't forget the sailing regattas and winter kite boarding right in front of you..
