The unit overlooks Little Creek and the duck pond and is literally steps away from Agate Beach, accessible over a small footbridge. From there you can walk into Newport in one direction, or to the ever-changing tidepools at the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area in the other. A perfect home base for exploring the scenic and lively surrounding area or a cozy retreat for settling down in front of the fireplace with a good book!
Newport is located midway on Oregon's scenic coastline. A short drive to the north brings you to Lincoln City, Chinook Winds Casino and other coastal resorts while to the south you will find the Sea Lion Caves at Florence, the Oregon Dunes at Reedsport and other natural wonders. Newport boasts an impressive array of fine restaurants, unique galleries and shops and plenty of attractions like the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Hatfield Marine Science Center and the picturesque bayfront where you can buy fresh seafood right off the boats. From the Seafood and Wine Festival in February to the Jazz Festival in October there is always something happening in Newport. A Farmer's Market runs every Saturday from May until October and fishing and whale-watching trips are available at the bayfront. Superb birding can be found at Alsea Bay in Waldport to the south or at Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge to the north. The Agate Beach Golf Club, open to the public, is just across Highway 101.

About the owner: We first stayed at Little Creek in 1976 and fell in love with the area. After vacationing in and around Newport for many years, we finally got the chance to buy at Little Creek a few years ago and we have been redecorating and upgrading ever since. We live in a beautiful part of Colorado but we welcome every chance to get back to our second home on the Oregon Coast. We also love sharing our special spot with family and friends - we know you will love it there too!
Why the Owner Chose Agate Beach:
Little Creek Cove is one of the very few developments on the coast that offers easy walk-out access to the beach with no long stairways or steep winding paths. The direct beach access is absolutely unbeatable and very hard to find. The unobstructed views and immediate experience of the ocean's sights, sounds and smells makes this spot unique as well as extraordinarily convenient for any beach-related recreation. The staff at Little Creek Cove is very professional and helpful and provides just the right mix of attentiveness and privacy.
