Stately Waterfront Summer House

This is an elegant old house which has a lot of charm. The rooms are large and the ceilings high. There is a lot of light and a beautiful view of the Inner Harbor. A long, thin porch spans the length of the living room and dining room. The master bedroom and living room overlook the Inner Harbor. The sunsets are gorgeous! The house is at the end of a driveway, so it feels very private.
This house has two stories. A very quiet and considerate tenant lives on the first floor. This listing is for the second floor.
The Inner Harbor is an inlet from the Atlantic Ocean which is filled and emptied by the tide. It is a very quiet and protected area, with egrets, blue herons, seagulls, and houses all around it. The water is warm enough to be very comfortable for swimming and shallow at low tide. At low tide, the mudflats come out and you can walk on them. We have a dory, which you can row around the Inner Harbor. Sandy Beach, the public beach, which you can go to, is very nearby.
The town of Cohasset is charming, small, quiet, and beautiful. It has several nice restaurants and shops.
Keywords: Summer Waterfront House. Season when the house is open in 2012: Aug. 1st-Oct. 15.

Stayed in this home July 2011. We LOVED it! Family with teenage kids. Owner was great to deal with. Resident downstairs is friendly and quite. Hardly knew he was there. When you walk up the steps and see the view your jaw will drop!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Dear Troy, Thanks so much for your review. I really appreciate it. I hope that you will come back sometime this summer. Molly Hauck

I hope to return here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+.
