We had a wonderful stay in this property; I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere that felt so much like home. The location was great being on the park and especially since my daughter, who lives in Steamboat, could join us with her dog as well. Thanks Suzanne!

I recently shared Suzanne's Freestyle Home with 2 other family's. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was great. The beds are comfortable & the kids had plenty to do. The hot tub, Wii games, movies, board games, & there was a great park right next door that you can see from the kitchen window. Suzanne checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything. She was wonderful. Not only did we all find a place to stay in Steamboat, we made a new friend. Thanks Suzanne for a great experience.

My friends and I all had a wonderful time staying at this great rental. The snow was awesome and the owner came by to shovel the decks and driveway every day...wow. The views are just the greatest and being on the bus line let everyone do what they wanted to do at any time. The comfort of home is what this house is...super spacious and tons of extra pillows and down comforters...movies games, and the kitchen is just what the chef ordered!!! we will come back and tell all of our other friends about it....thank you for having us at yor beautiful home. peace jess....see you next year

I have used VRBO many times with great success, this was not one of them. The upstairs bedroom situation is unconventional to say the least. The upstairs "master bedroom" and bunk bed area is all one large open room. The upstairs bathroom has a pocket door on one side with no lock and no door on the other side. The glass wall you see in the picture is only a 3'4 wall and is the head board of the king bed. The shower has no curtain, so if someone opens the door there you are. While using the bathroom we constantly had to shout "Someone's in here!". As for the downstairs bedrooms the two king bedroom suites were as described. The queen "master" is a small bedroom with the closet as the laundry room. The dresser was also full of the owner's stuff so there was no place to unpack. The overall condition of the house could use some attention as well. There is no AC in the house which is not by itself an issue, but only about half of the windows have screens and one of the ceiling fans did not work. Since it right on the park and stream you could not open the windows without screens because of the mosquitos. The back deck with the hot tub also needs some work. One of the steps was broken and we had to sit a chair over so none of the kids would step on it. It also had some weak spots around the front of the hot tub. The dishwasher left the dishes with a crusty film so we ended having to wash most things by hand. As for the general appearance of the house it was a little cluttered and junky. Outside by the garage there was a large pile of discarded items from what looks like a renovation that happened some time ago. We were also disappointed by the lack of professionalism shown by the owner. She stopped by the house once while we were there at 11 o'clock at night. There was also an issue with the dogs (which were approved) where the owner called my mother at 10:30 at night yelling and cursing telling us we had to get out of the house now!
Owner response:The neighbors called me while I was out of town and told me to kick these people out or call the police on them! They had dogs that they left alone all night barking! It took the cleaning people 5 days to clean ...piles of dog hair, pee/ feces and chewed things...the smell was so bad. had to get carpets cleaned. I just put new carpet in, new trim, new paint and they ruined it all! In the 15 years of great rentals and happy and repeat customers I have never been so dissapointed or had my home trashed so bad, nor have I ever had a complaint or any one trash me on VRBO> I should have called the police on them as my neighbor wished! I have a beautiful home and I have worked very hard on it and every year with upgrades. Suzanne Kibler/ owner
