This was our family’s first time vacationing in Spain and it was memorable! First of all I must start out by saying most of the communication was done via the internet and it was a pleasure making arrangements and acquiring the information needed in the planning process. Emails were replied to quickly (1-12 hours). The fees were exactly as quoted, no hidden or last minute cost upon check in. The property was exactly as described and pictured, well maintained, and safe, with lots to do in the area. Directions were clear and extremely helpful with finding the location of the apartment. Very detailed instructions of check-in/check-out procedures emailed by owner highly appreciated! Also, the young ladies were helpful and nice with guiding us to public transportation, as well as tours with discount coupons. Many restaurants, food markets, and bakeries in the area. Walking distance to the main shopping areas. Accommodations are 50% of a vacation and I must say our stay was the best! I will definitely return and/or recommend to anyone wanting great accommodation for good price.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Barcelona! For our family of four, this apartment worked out great. (our kids are 9 and 11) We had breakfast and then went out each day. It was easy to navigate BCN on the Metro. We would come back late afternoon to relax, have happy on the roof and then go out for dinner. The location of the apartment in a residential section of Barcelona worked out well for us as it was quieter than other areas and we could get a good night sleep. We would stay here again or other apartments owned by Lauren and Fernando! PS the apartment really deserves 4.5 stars but that was not an option!

A classic building very near Sagrada Familia. Within walking distance to Hop On/Off bus tours. Apartment is as described -nice view of the area from the windows -internet is exceptional -bathroom is small but adequate. The only drawback (and it's a personal preference) the main bedroom bed was a little too hard. We were greated by Marcella and told all we had to do was call and she would provide assistance.

Great Location in a real neighborhood in Barcelona

This apartment was located in a neighborhood not far from Sagrada Familia and the main streets.It was comfortable and clean and we received lots of help from the owners on the attractions and how to get around. Even though we arrived on a holiday in Barcelona, there was someone ther to greet us and help us out. You can walk to Sagrada Familia, the grocery store and local restaurants and catch the open top bus tour about 5 blocks away. The stay was very nice and the experience was excellent. We would stay there again. We stayed in September 2010

Nice apartment in a great area: a couple of blocks from La Sagrada Familia. Great open market a few blocks away. Very small kitchen - can't really cook much - but well equipped. The elevator worked every day except the day we arrived and the day we left, so moving luggage was a challenge. We'd go back, despite this!

A couple of Canadians lived here for days…This apartment makes us feel like home. It does remove all the fatigue and also supplies all we need. This is the best five-star hotel we ever been. Thank you Negre Family for all your helpful advice and information booklet, it made travel around much easier to understand. Our four days here were perfect. We saw so much and were really impressed by wonderful metro+bus system - great way to get around. The fresh food market a short walk from here was a real bonus - loved the fabulous figs and peaches. Great apartment - we look forward to staying again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. A lovely town with plenty to see and do... We were really blown away by the Gaudi architecture.. The apartment was great with everything we needed and made us feel at home. Ivan was very helpful also. Dear Lauren, We just returned from our trip last night, so this is my first chance since leaving the apartment to tell you how much we enjoyed the stay in Barcelona. The apartments could not have been better. Fernando has done a beautiful job in making them very efficient and attractive, and Ignacio was super in helping us get settled. The location is terrific. We used the playgrounds on Sant Joan daily. For the kids, the playgrounds are as memorable as Parc Guell is to us. The city is, as I anticipated, even more fun than when I was there in 1991. Although I'm not sure if I am happy that Barceloneta has turned into the South Beach of Barcelona, we had a great lunch there. As we were leaving the zoo, heading over to the Jaume I metro stop I discovered that El Born is now a great place to hang out. The only problem was that it was our last evening in Barcelona, and we had to head home for dinner, so we had only a few minutes there. That did not stop me from running into some stores (and coming out with a shirt...there's nothing better than the july rebaixas. I'm already daydreaming about when I can get back to Barcelona. It very hard coming back to a rainy Princeton after having two weeks along the Mediterranean Sea. Thanks so much for making the trip to Barcelona possible for us. My only regret is not pushing the group harder so that we would have booked the apartments for the full week... Again, thanks so much! Your business is going to flourish...you do your jobs very well. Maybe I'll be contacting you in in the next year or two to book an apartment again. Certainly I'll be telling anyone I know who is going to Barcelona to check with you. Warmest regards,
