This property is a unique 2 story condo with both a 350 square foot roof deck and a 1st floor terrace located within the historic district of Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Despite its close proximity to the heart of the city, visitors will feel relaxed here on our beautiful tree-lined streets. Located centrally between 2 of Brooklyn's best restaurant/shopping districts (Smith Street & 5th Avenue), it's also only a few blocks to every Manhattan-bound subway line (Which is only 1 stop from Brooklyn on the express line). Our place is a true 3 bedroom which can sleep up to 7 people comfortably (8 with one on the sofa), making it a ideal vacation home away from home!
There is a plant filled private roof deck off the master bedroom with lovely views of lower Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn. A perfect retreat after a busy day. The condo is kid friendly.

This review is terribly late, but better late than never! I rented this condo to throw a bridal shower for my sister and to house my family that traveled into the city to attend. I live in Brooklyn but did not have the space in my own apartment to have the shower there or provide lodging, and this wound up being the perfect alternative. Courtney and her family were wonderful and extremely helpful and communicative. The condo was spotless on arrival and they even provided extra chairs for me since I told them I was going to hold a bridal shower. The shower went perfectly and I was able to house 6 of my relatives at a low cost compared to a hotel. For those who are unfamiliar with Brooklyn, this condo is located in a great neighborhood and is about a 3-4 block walk to Subways. Keep in mind that this condo is a walk-up so I would not recommend it for elderly visitors. My family, however, (ages 70 and under) had no problems with the stairs. Thank you Courtney for making our stay so pleasant! I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Brooklyn, or even to host a small family event like I did!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family of 6 enjoyed our stay here, everything was provided and it was very cute apartment. A good 20 minute walk to the subway that we used most but was an easy walk. Apart from the blizzard, we enjoyed day trips to NY each day. It was a very convenient place and you could get to any part of the city easily. The owners were very helpful and had lots of information available. It is on the top floor (4) and that could prove tough for young kids but otherwise great. Thanks again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Brooklyn:
We have lived in Boerum Hill for over 15 years. We've watched it grow into an amazing area. It's quieter than the city but is full of amazing things to do like, BAM, cinemas, Brooklyn museum, Prospect Park, Brooklyn Promenade and so much more. There are kid parks nearby. And fantastic restaurants and stores that give Manhattan a run for its money.
