This three bedroom poolside condo is an ideal Lake Michigan escape for a family or three couples. The locale is one mile from New Buffalo beach, and is within driving distance of Four Winds Casino and area wineries. Take advantage of walking around charming downtown New Buffalo with boutique shops, fine dining and an upscale Marina.
Two bedrooms feature a queen size bed, and the bunk room offers a twin-over-full bunk bed, futon, plus a fold away twin bed in the closet. There is an additional pull-out full-size sofa bed in the living room. Bonus features - immediate access from the unit to the Association's heated pool.

My family had a great time staying in this condo. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The building and pool area was also very well taken care of. The owner responded quickly to my emails and always answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and relatives. We enjoyed New Buffalo's public beach and also visited Silver Beach in St. Joseph for a day. We would also recommend eating at The Stray Dog Bar and Grill.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo is a perfect place to relax. It is very clean and includes all the amenities you could want. There are multiple beds making it nice for families. The balcony overlooking the pool is a great place to enjoy morning coffee. It is very close to the beach, many restaurants and walking distance to downtown New Buffalo. We will definitely return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

From our experience staying at this condo in August 2010, we would like to clarify two misleading sentences used to describe it -- and apparently most other units in this complex available on VRBO: 1) "The location offers [easy walking access to] downtown New Buffalo with boutique shops, fine dining and upscale Marina, plus [the wonderful sandy beaches of Lake Michigan]." 2) "The condo is also located near Four Winds Casino, Oselka Marina, [5 blocks from the beach], and several wineries." Given that the public beach is over a mile from the complex, we feel these phrases misrepresent the location and distance, and it should be clear to future visitors what they are getting. The condo is a decent value for the price, and others may have a fine experience there, as long as they know there is no beach access within 5 blocks (except for private beaches, which means one would need to tresspass to access them, something we were not comfortable doing). "Easy walking access" is admittedly a subjective assessment, but if you have several small children and beach gear in tow, over a mile probably falls outside your range of "easy," too. Beyond that, everything else was as described and as shown in photos. The pool is a nice bonus amenity. We drove to the beach each day, and we had an otherwise wonderful vacation in and around New Buffalo.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 9/10
