The Coddage is right out of a summertime novel. Stunning views from every window, the waves lulling you asleep at night and peacefully awakening you in the morning. Cheery, clean and fully equipped, this beautiful cottage has all the beach-time essentials from a lobster pot and grill to beach chairs and board games. I rented the Coddage last June and divided the week between my boyfriend, girlfriends and my mom and brother, and it had something for everyone. Cooking smores, a romantic dinner on the deck, and reminiscing with my family over a bottle of Pinot Noir on the beach. A perfect week. We didn’t have to fight Cape traffic and had wonderful breakfast nooks and a beautiful inn for dinner just a stone’s throw away. Restaurants galore. The kitchen opens up to a beautiful, cheery family room that is so perfect for entertaining or just a quiet afternoon of reading. Linda is an absolute joy to rent from. She and her family have a gem here and I would rent again in a heartbeat. The best part of my trip was seeing all my guests’ reactions when they walked into this house and saw the view. Ocean view is an understatement. This house is practically part of the ocean. So beautiful and such a memorable week. Thank you, Linda, for sharing your house with us.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just returned from a week at the Coddage, and we had the best family vacation. The Coddage setting is one of the most beautiful beachfront scenes I have ever seen. Waking up in the morning and having our morning coffee looking out at the ocean was wonderful. We had our grandkids there, and the location was ideal for them playing at the beach and coming up for lunch. After dinner walks to the jetty became a nightly event and many critters were found. (Starfish, snails, etc.) The kids had a ball. We can't wait to return next year. Thanks Linda for sharing your home with us.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a wonderful house right on the beach. We spent the week (two families) and had plenty of room. The kitchen is spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms are bright and clean. The beach is great for kids with plenty of space to build sand castles -- shallow water and gentle waves. You can sit right on the deck and enjoy the view or walk for miles in either direction. There are many great restaurants nearby and a local spot to buy fresh lobster to bring home and cook up.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. This is a perfect way to experience the Cape. We had the best time ever and highly recommend this to anyone that just needs to get away and unwind. The listing description and photos are wonderful and spot on! It is clean and extremely well maintained. The owner was extremely helpful with questions we had and very nice as well. There is so much to do around the area and vicinity. This was a great vacation. We went to Salem one day and then went to Provincetown another. This will be a vacation that you and your family will never forget. We highly recommend this and hope to get the opportunity to go back some day. Enjoy!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Photos & listing accurately capture this ocean-front cottage. Feels like a "home" (not a rental) -- nicely appointed furnishings. Recent updates to kitchen & bathrooms. Love the outdoor shower. Literally this cottage sits at the water's edge -- an amazing view! Rolling sand dunes adjacent to cottage. Clean upon arrival.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
