  We really enjoyed our stay here. It was great to have our own space while in town visiting family. The suite was clean and modern with all the comforts of home. It was great having a washer and dryer right in the suite as well. We will definitely be staying again.

  My husband and 6-month old son stayed at the Carriage house for 2 nights. We were touring the area and looking for a new home. Staying at the Carriage house was a wonderful break from the stress of house hunting with a baby. We will definitely be back!

  What a perfect getaway, with every possible thoughtful item possible added into the package. The washer/dryer were worth their weight in gold, as were the ironing board and iron. Arriving during a high heat wave timing, the air conditioning was delightful! Perfectly located so we could attend quite a number of family events, loved our little home away from home. AND, we were thrilled to meet such a lovely family too, thanks so much for everything. We'll be back!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The spotless holiday home offers everything we needed plus more such as a selection of movie DVDs and useful travel information. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are wonderfully comfortable. Our friendly hosts ensured that we were extremely well looked after. Thank you so much for everything including the lovely sweet farewell treat we enjoyed on our onwards journey. We can highly recommend this property.

  The apartment was lovely, with everything I needed (and some stuff I didn't!). I didn't spend a lot of time there as I was 'out and about' each day, but it was very nice to have somewhere to go 'home' to. I even saved the address into my GPS as 'Home Vancouver'! Thanks for a great stay.

  this is just what travelers expect to have, clean and nice place with all the commodities and great loction, managment was great on providing picturs and process of booking, I stayed with 3 of my kids and enjoyed the experience! will definitely recommend and will book next summer!

  We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. We travel to Canada several times a year because both our sons play hockey and we will definitely check out the availability of the Carriage House for future trips. The only negative would be that there were some fairly noisy neighbors - loud music and talking until 2am - across the back alley. Thanks!

  Owner response: We strive to ensure that everyone who stays at Carriage House enjoys their stay. Unfortunately we cannot control the behaviour of neighbours and their guests. I have discussed your concerns with the landlord of the property in question, and he has assured me that he will discuss this with tenants and enforce "quiet time" in future.   My husband and I spent one month here and really enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything a person required. We travelled to B.C. for a golf holiday and there are many great courses in this area, also wonderful shopping. We would certainly recommend it to our family and friends. Thanks Ken and Kathy.

  We came up to Surrey to spend American Thanksgiving weekend with our daughter, who is studying in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, and we loved staying here! It is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood for walking, and it is close to shopping and restaurants. Everything is provided for an enjoyable stay. Ken, the owner, was very responsive to our questions. (Thanks, Ken!) We highly recommend this property if you are planning a visit to the area.

  I rented this property for my parents who were traveling from Cairo, Egypt. We all fell in love with this place! It was very clean and well maintained, as well as beautifully decorated. Everything needed was available: movies, a phone line, kitchen appliances, cutlery, kitchen ware, towels, pretty much everything! Ken and Kathy thank you for being so welcoming and really working hard to making this place inviting and comfortable. I will absolutely recommend this place to all friends and family.

  My wife and I stayed for 3 nights while attending to a family matter. While we did not spend a lot of time in the suite because of our schedule, we found the carriage house to be exactly what we were looking for and completely met our needs. Can't think of anything that has been overlooked here. The selection of quality DVDs was a bonus even though we didn't find time to take advantage. Located close to everything, but you need a car if you are going to visit the greater Vancouver area. Deposit was returned to us the morning after our departure.   Appreciated prompt responses from the owners; overall clean, well-decorated and well-maintained studio. Liked having access to free wi-fi and laundry on site particularly since traveling with a toddler. We used our car as well public transportation to travel to Vancouver (does take 45 min without traffic and over an hour with traffic). We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Carriage house to friends and family members. Thank you again.

  This place was great! The neighborhood is very nice and convenient. It is an easy drive to so many great locations, but you always feel like you are returing to a cozy home to relax at the end of the day. My youngest daughter enjoyed the nearby park with the ducks and pond. Kathy and Ken are excellent hosts and we would definitely return!

  We were very well satisfied with the Carriage House. We found it to be very comfortable, clean , nicely decorated and well equipped. It was a great location to sight see in Vancouver area without staying in the middle of the city. It was a short drive to make connections for the Sky Train which took us into Vancouver. It was easy to get around with stores, restaurants close by. The owners were very nice, helpful and professional. We would reccomend this place to call your home away from home while visiting the Vancouver area.

  I booked for a week for myself and 10yr old son who were in town for business and to visit vancouver. The property is superb. Fully loaded with all of the amenities of home. Very easy to book, great directions and only 40 minutes from the airport. We drove in and out of Vancouver a couple of days to sight see with ease. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. The photos are accurate and this property is ideal for 1 to 4 persons. I would recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver.

  Nice and quiet and easy to get to all areas of lower mainland. Would definately recommend. Tight squeeze in parking stall, but able to do with a van. A truck? no way. Thanks.

  My wife and I recently spent four nights at this property enroute from Arizona to our home in Blind Bay, BC. The property exceeded our expectations in every respect and we will be making it a regular stop for us when travelling to and/or via Vancouver. Super clean with every amenity you need to make your stay comfortable I have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone. .

  We have been using VRBO for years and have been very impressed with our selections. The Carriage House has lived up to its billing. Although new construction, the suite was in excellent condition and just as described, comfortable, cozy ,and super clean. Ken and Kathy are gracious hosts and very accommodating. The suite is very close to a lot of amenities and shopping. Also very close to a variety of sites and activities.   I stayed here during October/November 2010 and from day one was really happy with everything about this place. The owners (Ken and Kathy) live right oppposite and are really at hand to help in any way possible (although they didn't disturb me once... i think i disturbed them more). The apartment has its very own off-street parking with separate entrance in a separate building. Once inside this really was the perfect place with all the neccesaties at hand. Not once did i feel there was anything missing here, and it was very apparant that everything had been well thought out and planned for travellers. Having stayed in many hotels before i was looking for a more homely place for this stay and this apartment could not have been a better fit. There is more than adequate living space for upto 3 or 4 people. The whole feel of the place and surrounding area really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed my stay here and the hospitality made me feel all the more welcome. This is one plac that is definitely going on my favourites list and i look forward to returning again soon. Thanks Ken and Kathy, you really have a great place i would highly recommend.

  We didn't know what to expect but this rental exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated in a great neighborhood and close to excellent shopping.and restaurants. Owner was most helpful with directions and instructions. Keypad entry was great. We would definitely recommend this rental. If we return to the area, we would try to stay here again.
