We, the Kaplan family, are looking for a nice, responsible family to rent our home for select dates! We have a roomy, kid friendly home, located in a water community with large backyard including garden, zip line, trampoline, chicken coop, pool, dock, boat, 2 man kayak, and sandy beach on Novato creek with tikki torches! We are located in Novato California, ½ hour from beautiful San Francisco, the coast, Muir woods, and the Napa Valley! The house has four bedrooms (2 ½ bathrooms) which include 3 single beds, 1 double and 2 queen beds…there are three couches in the house and an elevated single inflatable bed that could be used for a larger group. Watch free Netflix movies on the home theater system or sing songs around our 1923 Ludwig baby grand piano. Or simply enjoy just relaxing and reflecting in our Christian home. We are definitely set up for people with kids…tons of toys, books, scooters, and bikes! We have great neighbors and could connect your family with locals to give you a non-touristy experience.

Our family selected this property and owner for the first time for all of us to be together. Parents, children and spouses and grandbabies. Two birthdays and two anniversaries were celebrated. This is an absolutely amazing property for all ages. We loved collecting and eating the eggs from the chickens. The babies discovered strawberries in the garden and we soon had to watch them and keep them from picking before they were ripe. The large table is perfect for family breakfasts--the booth in the kitchen for late night homemade ice cream and sharing funny stories. The pool and hot tub were spectacular to use at night under the stars, with the tiki torches lit and a fire in the chiminea. Plenty of space and bathrooms for three couples. 20 minutes from Sonoma and Golden Gate bridge. The owners are complete professionals regarding the business arrangements and are the nicest people as well. The neighbors treated us like new family--the cute babies were probably the draw there. (smile). This week was a life long memory for our entire family and is now part of the fabric of our story. When you are in this home, it feels like a home that is loved and cozy. Other 'firsts' cousins playing the grand piano together. First climb up the slide. First 'lesson' between cousins, as one showed the other how to go up and down stairs. Family picnic on a wild beach at Reyes National Seashore. First dip in the pool for one cousin. First visits to Sonoma. First visits to Golden Gate and a fun family drive up and down Lombard street. Truly a treasure in everyway.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This family's home is very comfortable, sizeable and has all the amenities. It is great for kids! Especially the pool which is warm and spacious. The house feels remote even though it is conveniently located. The chickens were fun and their eggs were delicious! The owners were friendly, easy to work with, and professional. I would definitely come back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were looking for a place that would be good for children and comfortable for the adults, allow us to be outside in the evenings, and be close to both the city of San Francisco as well as other areas north such as the Russian River and Bodega Bay. This vacation home met all those criteria plus more. It was beautifully decorated but comfortable for children. The pool, the kayak and the entire backyard area were perfect endings to busy days (with gorgeous sunset views). It also was a great place to have a large family cookout that included local friends on what turned out to be the hottest day of the vacation (e.g. wonderful to have the pool and the kayak). The owners were informative, responsive and available for questions. All in all, the perfect vacation home in Novato.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Wonder house for our visit to California. Our son got married in Napa and we were first time tourist to the West Coast. Wanted some place in between both areas. And we found it at Bel Marin Keys. Plenty of room and wonderful view from the pool area. A great place to stay for a family visiting Marin County or San Francisco. There is a lot of room and things for kids to do. Easy access with car to the all the sights. Owners are very helpful and kind.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.
