  My husband, friend and I stayed for three days at this absolutely fantastic townhouse. It is tastefully decorated, very clean, and as comfortable as home. We liked that the property was away from the hustle and noise of the Outer Banks, yet close to everything in case we wanted to venture out. Because it's a gated community, we felt very safe and secure. There is a pool and playground for children, plenty of fishing opportunities, a restaurant, and a marina on site. The Black Pelican and Dirty Dick's are excellent seafood restaurants in the area. There is so much to do so be sure to pick up a visitors guide so you don't miss out on anything the Outer Banks has to offer. I would absolutely recommend staying here; we definitely plan to go again next year. Alan was very friendly and helpful, and even called to check on us during our stay. Thank you Alan and Alex for sharing your wonderful home with us!

  The townhouse is actually nicer in person. The pics don't do it justice. Alan was super helpful and stayed in contact with us before, during and after our stay. The proximity of the townhouse to shops, restaurants and the beach was perfect. The Pirates Cove community itself is very, well maintained. The guard at the gate was also friendly and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends. We would definitely stay here again!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the townhouse. It was very well decorated and still had a family feel to it. Loved the location with a view of water off the back of the house. Very nice having the two decks. The developement is really an upscale fishing village. The owners were very helpful and informative. They personally called and emailed us and recommended activities and restaurants. We took their advice and really had a great time. It was a very family friendly enviroment and we can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

  We've now rented three properties through VRBO and this was by far the best. The owner was very helpful regarding activities to do and places to eat nearby, including that we could get fresh shrimp to grill ourselves right up the street. The townhouse was clean, very well kept, and felt like home for the week we were there. The location is perfect, a short ride to the beach and a back balcony complete with a bbq offering wonderful, tranquil views. The community is also wonderful, and perfect for families with daily activities including a tie-die t-shirt activity in the rec center. We very much enjoyed our time there and plan to go back! Thank you :)

  My family and I enjoyed our stay in the OBX. We truely loved the townhouse and both Alan and Alex could not have made us more comfortable. We look forward to going back!!...soon.
