  Our group of four families spent a weekend at this wonderful home. We had a hard time finding one home that could accommodate eight adults and seven children. This home accommodated all of us and we probably could have added more people! The home is beautifully appointed, true log cabin feel. The scenery was amazing. The drive up the mountain was a little scary, especially at night, but once you arrived, WOW! Sitting on the back deck, you could really marvel as to how beautiful the surrounding area is! The home has every you could possibly need. We would not hesitate to come to this home again if we're in the area!

  Wonderfully appointed, large cabin rental with a great location and view. We would recommend it to anyone and plan to stay again next year!

  Our recent stay at this house was beyond our expectations. There was plenty of room and the home is decorated and furnished with excellence. The home has incredible views from all balconies. We would like to return with our children someday for a longer stay.

  This cabin was beautifully decorated and and we enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of cooking utentsils etc. The view from the large deck was spectacular and the drive to Highlands NC only took about 20 minutes. We did have a few complaints: 1) the two gas fireplaces were impossible to light even after calliing the owner. Since it was December and cold, this was disappointing. 2) Wireless was unavailalbe as the router was missing. We called the owner and although they were very helpful, nothing could be done. 3) The air hockey and foosball tables both had damage and were just not usable. This was also disappointing, especially if you have children. 4) There was only 1 small garbage can outside to accomadate up to 6 bedrooms. We were not sure where to store the garbage and ended up taking it home. Not good. Communication with the owners was very timely and they were very quick to return our deposit etc. In the end this was a very nice place to stay and it is extremely huge and offers privacy. Thanks.

  Our family stayed at this cabin Labor Day 2011. It was everything that we expected and lots more. We had 15 family members and there was plenty of room. The cabin was very cozy. The view from the deck is beautiful. There are decks on each floor. The kitchen and dining area are perfect for a large family outing. The owners were wonderful. They made us feel like family renting their mountain home. We hope to go again if we can get everyone's schedule together. Thanks so much Gloria for you and your husband sharing your home.

  Our family of 10 needed a place where we could all be together for a holiday. The listing description of this cabin answered all our questions and fit our needs. The cabin interior pictures did not do justice to the real thing. All rooms were beautiful and well appointed. Appliances, decor, electronics, linens, and utensils are all top-of-the-line. Location is beautiful and is also near stores, grocery and lots of antique shops. We would definitely recommend this cabin to our friends and relatives.
